Gonex MOLLE EMT First Aid Pouch - Perfect for Medical Supplies and Emergency Situations

Donatello: This bag is so great. I built a first aid kit with tons of stuff, so much stuff that I can't really organize it well inside, but that's OK because the whole thing zips and a half so you can easily find what you need in an emergency and then just pack it all back in, so much better than trying to give you every possible pocket and nook and cranny to organize everything to some specific standard, like most other bags do. It has enough pockets to separate things in the categories, and then you are left with copious space in the middle to just kind of pile extra volume of things in there.

we've taken this thing backpacking for multiple days, multiple times, hiking, road trips, all over the place, I just throw it around, when I'm backpacking I hook it onto the outside of my backpack (the molle compatable straps + the clip make it impossible to accidentally drop, but I also use a carabiner to connect one of the little plastic loops on it to something on my bag). This thing is honestly the best bang for your buck out of anything in the backpacking/prepper/first aid/etc. category.

If you want a decent list of things to get: I keep, in ours, a 6 inch hemostatic (blood stop)...

Heart: Well I got to tell you I'm on a lot of different meds which leaves you in one of them situations where you got a bag full of these medication bottles and I was thinking to myself there's got to be a way that I can organize this so it makes getting into thim not only easy but you know an orderly mind is easy to deal with than a mindful of chaos and I thought that would work great with this bag in my meds which it does it's thick enough that it'll hold the bigger bottles you know the ones that they give you for three months Etc and it also has places for your medication that may come in individual packets etc the velcro and Molly system or spot on I have government issue equipment and it blends right with it and it's as well made in my opinion as the stuff that Uncle Sam was giving me so I got to say good on you for the quality and function of this larger med bag or EMT bag whatever they're calling them I call it a life simplifier works great for me and I love the velcro backing I have it attached to a bag that goes on my wheelchair and then when I need my meds you know I just pull it loose and there it is so I hope this helps if I had to have another one I would not hesitate to go...

C.G.: So far it seems like a decent bag. it goes in and out of the jeep when the jeep is open. Unfortunately, the snaps that keep it attached to the Molle system are not strong enough so whenever you remove it by separating the Velcro, the snaps also unsnap so when you put the bag back in, you have to reattach the base to the Molle system and then re-Velcro it. Not a deal breaker but plan on re-setting up the Molle attachments every time you take it in or out. I had hoped to be able to pull it off the Velcro and put it back in quickly.

Chris: An excellent molle pouch that can be used for any purpose.
Molle is great as all these types of pouches, bags and rucksacks can be linked together, allowing for a good deal of customisation and accessibility in what you carry.
And this particular pouch looks and feels very well made.
We use this as a first aid pouch and it has plenty room for everything we need, offering quick and easy access with the rip-away velcro - a nice touch, well thought out, and useful in an emergency.

Thomas Huxoll: Ich habe mir diese Erste-Hilfe-Tasche für Wandertouren besorgt. Sie ist aus recht robustem Gewebe in leuchtendem Rot und deshalb im Notfall immer sofort zu sehen. Sie lässt sich mittels praktischer Schlaufen gut am Gurtzeug oder den Spannriemen des Rucksacks außen befestigen. Man kann außerdem auch die Tasche mit einem Ruck von der Rückseite (Klett) abziehen und hat sie dann schnell überall da, wo man sie gerade benötigt.
Sie fasst alles erstmal Notwendige für einen medizinischen Notfall wie eine Beatmungsmaske, Torniquete, Klemme und Schere. Alles findet Platz entweder in den Fächern oder in den Schlaufen, dazu Pflaster, ein kleines Fläschchen Antiseptikum und ähnliches kann man ebenfalls unterbringen. Sehr praktisch ist die flache mittlere Reissverschlusstasche, sie nimmt mehrere Blister von Tabletten auf und dient außerdem der Unterteilung.
Der umlaufende Reissverschluss ist leichtgängig.
Das Ganze wiegt kaum etwas und kann durchaus einen Unterschied machen, ob man sicher aus dem Wald kommt oder nicht.

Plenty of room. A basic first aid kit will have room left over.
Rip away is really nice. Can pull the kit off easily.
Multiple attachments D-rings allow carabiner attachment. Can attach to Molle
Folds out nicely

Bad

The material doesn't seem as think and strong as my other Molle gear.
The backing for the tear away pouch seems a little flimsy.
It could surprise me but it doesn't look like it will stand up to tough wear because the material isn't as durable
The Molle should have another row. Not huge but a middle row would give a tight fit with the velcro backing.
It doesn't come with a third Molle strap. Not huge but a third strap would tie down better.

Dylan RiverdaleDylan Riverdale: The MOLLE straps are 3 wide, which positions it off center of my 4 strap wide section on my pack.

There is a convenient flip up pouch inside which I used to store medications. Lockets are good for bandages and dressings. There really wasn't anywhere to put smaller stuff, so some items are loose in the bag in thier own packages. One or 2 more pockets would have been perfect.

Medic1967: This is part of my EDC as a Paramedic for small trauma. I can carry enough gauze, pads and tape to deal with situations that would normally require rummaging through a larger bag and potentially contaminating more supplies. It is well laid out with loops and holders and (importantly!) opens FLAT for easy access. The zipper functions smoothly and can be sealed with tamper-evident tags if you have any laying about. The tear-away hook-and-loop MOLLE platform and safety strap add to the convenience. This pouch rides on the outside of my day pack and works very well for me. Would buy again and would recommend to friends and colleagues.

tat2dangelinaztat2dangelinaz: We purchased this Molle Fist Aid pouch for the specific purpose of using it as our BSA family first aid kit for hiking/camping. We spend a lot of time on trails here in the Southwest and can never be too careful, especially since I'm an athsmatic with bee and food allergies. Not only did this kit fit our standard BSA required first aid supplies, I was able to fit some extras in ncluding an Epipen and an emergency inhailer. Way better than always having to dig it out of my hiking bag! The breakaway velco back is awesome and even allows us to attach it to our family dog's molle harness. He wasnt even bothered by it at all! Now I just need to get some additional molle straps with snaps so I can turn it into a small backpack. My 4 year old daughter is determined to be in charge of carrying the first aid kit on our next hike.....lol. It was well worth the money so we got a second one. If you're looking for a well-made versatile molle bag....this is it!

OutdoorGuy: Cool little med pack, very roomy for lots of supplies! Molle system is all good and I like the velcro, it makes it easy to just pull off without detaching from whatever pack its attached too. Stitching and zippers look solid! I have a hard shell med kit that I carried in my bag, now that little hard case is inside this pack and this pack is attached to my bag. Originally I was going to transfer my hard case contents into this pack but when I discovered that the hard case fits inside it was a bonus! Double up on protecting the medical supplies and I still have room inside the pack to fit a few more items!
