I have not used the product, so I can't really rate it. the "claw"/adapter on the end is very light, so I'm guessing its aluminum, and its probably fine for the plastic parts you are supposed to be connecting to, but if you try hammering something metal it will most likely damage the "claw"/adapter.

Aaron A. TurnerAaron A. Turner: My bike tipped over into my truck's bumper denting the bike's fuel tank. All of the local shops & Yelp mechanics in my area said they wouldn't remove the dent.
I found this tool kit & saw another user's review about it working on his motorcye's gas tank, so I gave it a try. It works!
I got the main dent about 97% out using the yellow gluestick. However, it didn't hold when trying to remove the smaller dents that remained. It took me 1.5 hours to get it to what you see in the pictures.
I was satisfied w/the results & called it a night. If the smaller dents bother me later, I'll try using the black gluestick & update this review.
I used WD-40 to remove the glue.

J.C.J.C.: Let me start by saying I already planned to replace my hood because of a huge amount of hail damage that would cost much more time/money to replace than buying a new one. I also had a huge dent in the front of the hood from a shopping cart rolling down a hill and hitting it hard a few years ago, and it is also in probably the worst spot to pull out (centered directly in a sharp crease). Because of how it was impacted the paint was cracked so I expected some of that to come off during this process. All of that said, this is about the worst scenario you would want (dented long ago, cracked paint, deep dent on a crease) but I bought this kit to to experiment before swapping out the hood, and have experience for the future dents I'm sure I'll get.
I was actually really impressed by the kit. It comes with everything you need other than rubbing alcohol, which is great because a lot of kits don't have the glue or high heat glue gun. The slide hammer gave significantly more pulling force than the other dent kit I own which is a bridge puller (that one is better for hail damage but not large dents). The black glue was very strong, the yellow wasn't strong but that might be what you...

AR: MOTORCYCLE GUYS
Cycle Tanks are hard metal. Cars are soft. Yet, I did well. Motorcycle Dent guy is seven hours away and so thought give it a try. Only one motorcycle review at the time of purchase. It was positive. So, I made the purchase because 1) this kit came with a glue gun 2) Came with a pull hammer as opposed to that bridge suction contraption. Had read another cyclist review on similar product regarding that bridge sucker, who said he ended up with even more dents. Made sense. So much as press on a motorcycle tank and you got a dent. That tri-ped thing looked like it would leave dents. My results with pull hammer, removed about 90-95% percent of dent at (hard) head of the tank, about four inches above gas cap, the location they say is the worst to deal with. Managed to leave tank on and aim puller just past handlebars. You will need patience. Took me about an hour and a half and two cups of coffee. Look at it as work and you’ll probably fail. Someone to help is nice also, perhaps to sit on and steady bike. Don't lose the bike! I have center stand, that helped. Took about 12 tab pulls. Some looked like they made a difference, many looked like nothing happened. Chances...

Jadon DuncanJadon Duncan: Had someone hit me in a parking lot and run. Got this to get the dents out and actually worked decent. You can see the before and afters. It’s not perfect but I can live with it now. I gave 4 stars because the glue gun doesn’t feed very well. Make sure to put alcohol in the spray bottle and clean the car area before gluing. Then use it again to help get the glue off with the scrapper. WD40 worked well to get the paint transfer off.
