This is a decent basic kit to do some glue pulling. However when I tried the line light the suction cup would not stick to anything. Appears to me that the plastic in the cup is too hard to be flexible enough to stick to a panel. This makes the line light almost useless unless you just hold it to see where you are working. Pretty much impossible to use if you're pushing any dents with tools. Also it works off of USB and the cable is only about 3 foot long so you better have some kind of portable battery to plug into.
Good assortment of glue tabs I thought and they work great. I feel with the cheap (unworkable) line light this kit is over priced for what you get.

I'm a DIY body and paint guy and have been for 30 years.
However, PDR was something I never tried before. Decided to buy this kit after getting hail damage on one of my custom cars.
I didn't get perfect results removing all the dings but I don't blame anything on the tool kit for that. The steel on my older classic cars is heavier than newer cars. My paint jobs use more coats of primer and paint than a new car has too and could have affected my results. I still had to re paint my panels but I didn't have to use any filler and that really made a big difference.
As far as the kit goes, it gives you everything you need and even more so. I only need to use the smaller of the pull tabs for the dings. It was handy have the multiple styles of pulling tools. I used them all. I really liked the slide hammer puller and I used the squeeze handle puller a lot too.

This kit has all the tools you'll want for doing a hot glue type dent removal. I put a nice monster set of dents from turning too sharp and smacking a pole in the side of my brand new transit van.
I was able to pull out the small dents and over time was able to get the big dent and it's children dents pretty close to normal again. For all the dents one go didn't work - I had to sit there for an afternoon and repeatedly stick the pads onto the van and pull them out. The tools provided work pretty well. The least effective tool for me was probably the bridge puller tied with the slide hammer - both those I didn't use at all. I tried the slide hammer but it is long so it's hard to pull completely perpendicular with the pad. What's nice about it though is that it disassembles so you get 2 T style pullers. The T style pullers were great for the bigger dent. I could just sit there and pull on those hard but not hard enough to rip the pads out and that eventually really helped get the majority of the big dent out. The T pullers and the big anodized aluminum tool were the most effective in my case. The hammers and taps that come with the kit are also super...

This is a pretty cool kit. The tools themselves are good quality, not great, but definitely good enough. I went ahead and polished the knockdown tips and blender hammer, they we a bit rough as new. I preferred the black glue, and I also preferred only letting it set for a minute or 2 to avoid over-pulling (I'm in north Texas). If you over-pull you have to really work at knocking it back down and this is a skill I'm just not very good at as a newb.
Great selection of glue tabs, I think a good tech could pull most glue-pullable dents given this selection.
I really light the light board, you'll be able to tell where your high spots are and find dents you didn't know were there :)
Keep in mind that in general glue pulls are less precise and you will need more patience vs a rod-based approach. A full set of quality rods is pretty expensive though, and its hard for a new guy to know what rods you'd need. Or really how to use them, let's be honest.
Overall the kit has a good selection of tools, and you have pretty much everything you need to attempt glue pulls of all your dents. You'll need to add alcohol which was not included,...

KC: Definitely a helpful set for gently removing the door panel and stubborn clips. Inexpensive means I don’t have to worry if I break one, though all survived this project. I will keep these with my hook & pick set for the next repair.
