PaganDeva2000: I really like the extra cards that are provided. They enhance the reading. I am new to Lenormand, so, while I wanted traditional cards, I did need cards that were pleasing to my senses.

Because of these facts, I have to criticize the print in the booklet. It would sure be nice if the print was more legible. It’s too small. I’m really trying to utilize the extra cards that only this deck provides I can barely read it. Even a QR Code for an available PDF would be helpful. This is why I can’t give a 5.

Mindy MayhewMindy Mayhew: If you plan to use this as a stand alone, they are amazing and I love them! If you're NOT looking to combine this with the original deck, ignore the following. This is just an FYI that this expanded addition is just slightly larger and thicker than the original version. 😔 I planned to shuffle these together with my existing deck and it's not possible. The new version is so slightly larger and thicker that I'm unable to shuffle them. For anyone who had the same idea to combine, it's not possible to shuffle them without cutting off the gilded edges. 😔 I really wish the size and shape was the same. But as a stand alone these are absolutely incredible and I love them 😊

mindfulmysterymindfulmystery: The colour on them is great and very evocative. They are a little bit different than Lenormand for me as they are even described in a more narrative way in the guidebook without keywords. If you want to learn Lenormand using these it is possible but I would get a Lenormand reference book alongside as the included guidebook doesn't take you into the meanings clearly. I think of them as an oracle that I can use Lenormand technique with.

I gave the deck 4 stars because as beautiful, glossy, durable and gilded as they are I have two cards with obvious damage to the lacquer. I think it comes from the warehouse. It has a bump. ridge and wide scrape in the lacquer for half the card which I a pretty big production flaw for me. Other than that though everything else is great including the box. The size of the cards is just right to be handled like poker playing card size.

Christian Johnson: I originally bought this for myself thinking that I would like it because of the beautiful artwork but I didn't feel much of a connection with the deck itself. On the plus side my significant other ended up loving these cards!

The artwork is great but felt like when it came to giving readings the artwork "cluttered" up things making it a bit harder to interpret them.

I had so much fun looking for the artists signature on each card after my significant other pointed it out to me.

Artwork: There were some cards where I didn't like the artwork on like the Tree (it has the kabbalah Tree), The polar bear(I feel the grizzly energy represents the meaning better), The Rider (Didn't like how they changed the gender to a female but I understand what the artist was going for), the male, woman and child cards (I wish all of them were either profile of the shoulders and up or where you could see the whole body, not a mixture), The lilies coloring (I go with more of the pure old age meaning mostly but the pinkish purple coloring on the "lips" of the lilies made me think of a vagina, so great for people who go with more of the sexual meaning of this card but not for me), And...
