Gift Set of Sakura Gelly Roll Pens - Vibrant Colors for Writing and Drawing

MM: I love the Gelly Roll Sakura pens. I like that this collection has both medium and fine tip in the same color. It has a nice variety of colors and types of ink like metallic, glitter, dual tone, etc. the colors are vibrant and don’t fade. The glitter and shiny effect of the others also lasts. However, they don’t all perform equally well. On the medium pens, the ink glides on smooth as butter. However, on some of the fine tip pens, the ink skips and is difficult to use. Still, overall, one of my favorite brands of gel pen.

Kindle Customer: These are okay but I find that I have to go back over the lines again because they aren't dark enough, or light on black paper. Lots of colours though.

This is one of those things.

The love, imagination, and whimsy put into creating these pens is delightful.

I’m buying my third set now as a gift. If you even have the smallest spark of joy and creativity in your heart these pens will make you smile. I’ve spent so many winter hours by the fire coloring with these.

Rebecca Wert: I grew up with Gelly Rolls but bought these 7 months ago for my renewed love of coloring. When I say I love these pens, I mean I am OBSESSED. They are absolutely the best gel pens for coloring hands down. So many color options. They are soooo smooth. They last for a long time. They flow very well and are not dry at ALL. I haven't had problems getting ANY of them to work. I've used them religiously and only my most favorite colors have ran out or are close (maybe 3) These are expensive for sure, but for me they were absolutely worth it.

Rachel Anderson: I've been using Sakura pens for a while now, and I tend to go through the smaller packs within a month. Of all of the Sakura packs I've bought, this is the one with the best dollar-to-pen deal, and all of the pens arrived in perfect quality. If you flip over the paper insert, you even have a place to swatch every single pen that's included! It also has a few facts about the pens. Sakura pens dry quickly, and the classic and moonlight pens don't smudge. Be aware that the metallic particles in the metallic, starlight, and shadow pens will, but that's par for the course of any shiny/glittery pigment. They are narrower pens than some, but I find them comfortable to hold and use, and as always, they glide like silk over the paper.

Meemer: I didn't have a lot of experience with these, or other gel ink, pens so this set introduced me to five kinds: Metallic, Classic, Moonlight, Stardust, and Dual Colour.
Metallic give a reflective metal finish in the same tone as the ink. Nice bold finish. The set says 0.4mm but it comes out broader than that with normal use [14 pens]
Classics are standard gel pens in medium and fine point. The only difference is that this brand is smoother and has consistent line weight. [17 pens with 11 different colours, some of the pens have the same colours, just different line weights: 0.3mm and 0.4mm]
Moonlight are brilliant opaque and luminous ink. Five of the colours are fluorescent and said to glow under black light. I haven't tried it, not a significant feature for me. I just love the vibrancy of the inks. They are just thick and juicy! [20 pens with 10 different colours, each colour comes in two line weights, 0.3mm and 0.5mm]
Stardust are, like the metallic, shiny but these ones are sparkling glitter in the tone of the ink. [13 pens]
Dual Colour are the kind where when you write, the main colour of the pen shows as the primary part of the line and the silver or gold shadow...

Peter M Tribby Sr: When I received the package from Amazon, it had been ripped into, open, on my front porch. That was not a great start. But I thought that other companies can’t always be represented properly by Amazon and some of their tardo employees. No, I wasn’t late in getting to it. I brought it in within minutes of its arrival.

I immediately proceeded to unpackage the Gelly Roll 74 Pen Set and enjoyed that a swatch card was presented along with the pens. It was helpful because hardly any of the pens were in their respective slots, which was incredibly annoying. It helped me at least to find out that I did, in fact, get all of the pens in the 74 Set I had ordered. Along with the Gelly Roll 74 Set, I had bought a cheaper set called Tanmit. On top of that, I bought a couple of packages of the Glaze Gelly Roll Set and a Gelly Roll Soufflé Set

The worst of the Gelly Roll 74 Set was that all but two, the orange and the white, of the Classic Pens were scratchy and dry. So eight pens were more than terrible. Also, the burgundy is more like a dark brown, not a reddish purple color. Why don’t they call it dark brown! Oh brother!

Madi: Produkt kam nach der Bestellung schnell und sicher an (meine aus England) . Habe alle 74 Stifte kontrolliert und überprüft -

Ergebnis: Keine Doppelten Stifte, keine leeren oder defekten Stifte. Alle aufgeführten Modelle/Grössen waren dabei, alle Stifte malen/zeichnen flüssig und gleichmäßig (deckend). Nur die Classic Version macht bisschen Probleme, laut meiner Recherche ist das normal, dass die Classics nicht ganz gleichmässig deckend und flüssig malen.
Am schönsten finde ich die moonlight (in verschiedenen größen!!) und die stardust. :D

für die stifte-sammler ,unter der ich mich auch zähle: an den Deckel (caps) der stifte ist ,je nachdem welches modell , eine bunte markierung, z.b. Bei der Moonlight-Serie ein Mond mit einem Stern. Ich finde, dass solche Markierungen bei Moonlight und bei Stardust nicht ganz sauber und ordentlich angebracht wurden. Zum Vergleich habe ich meine einzelnen Sets, die ich schon hatte angeschaut, da sind die Markierungen deutlich besser und sauberer „angebracht“. Laut meiner Recherche ist das normal bei dem großen 74er Set.. von daher passt..

MyReview: Having never tried this brand of gel pen before I deliberated for ages on whether to start off with just one small pack or jump right in and buy the 74 piece set. On the one hand I didn't want to waste money if they weren't any good but on the other if they were good I knew I'd want to try different lines within the range and that would end up costing much more on the whole. In the end I took the plunge and went for the 74 piece set. I wasn't disappointed.

You get a box with different compartments containing not only a variety of gel pens but also different sized nibs too. This is great if you're using them for adult colouring books as you can just swap over pens for the more intricate areas.

In this set you get:

Metallic pens - 14 pens with a 0.4mm tip. These come in a great variety of colours and look great on paper.

Classic pens - 17 pens in two different sized tips 0.3mm and 0.4mm. I particularly like the white gel pen in this line as it's handy for adding details over other colours once they've dried.

Moonlight pens - 20 pens in two different sized tips 0.3mm and 0.5mm. They are lovely and bright and have an almost paint like consistency....

Vicki: Bought these while they were on sale, which was awesome enough on it's own. The pens themselves are awesome. They glide on smooth and are bright and beautiful colours. There were only a few where I had some problems. One didn't want to work, and I had to scribble on a piece of paper a bunch to get the ink to flow, but after that it worked amazingly with no problems. The other two, skipped a bit, but you go over it once and its covered instantly. I love that it came with a colour chart, although I think it would have been better to have a piece of paper put in for it, rather than using the back of the cardboard since the cardboard piece that they use for giving you the information on how many pens you are getting and what ones you are getting. I found that it was a bit of a pain to colour in the chart and then figure out how to keep it in place with the pens in the actual case. I ended up cutting the ends off the colour chart and down sized the piece of cardboard so I could place them on the inside of the lid on the case and stuck them on with stickers. Looks a little funny but it works for what I need it too. You also get tips about the pens themselves, which I cut out and taped...
