Amazon Customer: The material on the mat seems a bit loose and smooth which in turns slips a bit when using. However, I am not sure if would have noticed this if I would have just bought this mat only. It was noticeable to me as I purchased a different brand mat for my older daughter and comparing the two there was a noticeable difference.

Overall the mat is as described and works for what we are using it for (practicing Acro at home) especially for the price paid. My daughter loved the purple color.

xibbie: Product is used daily x3 months now by two kids under 8years old and condition is as it was when new. Folds quickly and easily to store out of the way. I was concerned 8’ wouldn’t be long enough when I saw all the 10’ options, but I’ve never thought “I wish we had two more feet of mat”.

Nancy: It's a great mat for doing floor exercises, sits up, etc. it is firm and comfortable at the same time, easy on the joints, can't rate it on durability as I just started using it, but it is well made so I'm expecting it to hold up well, looked at many options on Amazon, very happy with the purchase.

Amazon Customer: I bought the 4’x8’x2”. I’m 5’9” and 51 yo. This mat, although doesn’t feel soft, makes doing floor exercises much easier due to decreasing pain in back, hip, knees and elbows. The size is perfect for someone my height, actually it’s a little big but I don’t worry about shifting off like with yoga mats. Definitely measure your floor space before ordering. It takes up a lot of room. Kinda feels cheap though but holding up so far.

Amorie carpenter: I just bought this as a gift for my daughters birthday, so it’s been unboxed but not used. I can see imperfections along the sea lines of the met which makes me believe it will not last very long. I decided to go with this mat over a more expensive option ( like $50 more) but more I’m thinking I should have spent the extra cash for peace of mind. I won’t be returning since I need this for next week, but I will also iodate in a few months after it’s been used, with photos!

SHEwolf: Great mat! The thicker foam is easier to fall and roll on. After 2 hours of throws & take-downs, I’m not even sore later. Though I wish I could have a larger area (10’ x 10’), This size is easier to transport and store. Folds down to an easy size. Has Velcro on all sides, and comes with convenient handles. 2 of these fit (lying flat) in my Prius (with the wider back seat folded down). I use them for self defense mat work. This mat attaches to my other mat of the same size to make an 8’ x 8’ square. When the mat is folded down, and stacked on top of a matching mat, it’s a great height to practice jumps. It is low impact too, easier on the knees. (It’s supposed to be 16” high with two of them stacked, but it seems a little higher because of the air spaces.) But if you do jump on 2 stacked mats, have someone there to keep mats from slipping/sliding...just in case. It hasn’t happened to me, but it’s better to be safe. I’m making 2 Velcro ‘belts’ to hold the mats together, since I don’t always have spotter nearby. Price is great too, these mats get very expensive. This was the best price I found on a 2” thick mat with 4-sided Velcro.

Bring Back Cho: I bought/use this mat for use as a mattress and it completely meets my needs. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because the vinyl shell isn't completely tight (slightly loose in spots) and it has a couple of small rips. The rips are very minor, and since the price was so low, I'm overlooking them and simply repaired them with some duct tape. I'm an advocate of the adage that says, if duct tape doesn't work, then you're not using enough duct tape... haha! Anyway, I prefer to sleep on the floor and am a minimalist in general. It's great to sit on with guests, cleans easily, and folds up quickly to put out of the way to allow the space to be converted from bedroom to whatever I need. It's also great for camping and my future anticipated use of laying in a cargo van for a small rv conversion.
