Charles A. Boudreaux III: Kids are starting Brazilian Jui-juitsu so we wanted some inexpensive mats to practice on here at the house.

These are awesome, we bought 2, they have velcro tabs on the bottom to attach the mats together. They feel exactly like the ones at the gym. 2 mats are going to be perfect for basic practice.

HeatherJ: Got a pair these to use around my pole dance pole. No mat surgery was required, the velcros work beautifully around the base of the pole. No dangerous sliding mats and there's a large enough coverage area I don't need to worry about whacking my head on unprotected floor.
Only downside has been it's a bit tricky to switch between spin and static, but that's purely because the mats secure so well around the base, all said a good problem to have. I could probably toss together a fix for that if I cared enough.
The cushioning is good, firm enough that you don't go straight through, soft enough to handle a hardish landing on your back from a few feet up. Grip on the surface is good too, very useful when I don't want to bother busting out the yoga mat to stretch. Easy to clean too.

Jacob: I’ve only had these about a month but I’ve been using them to spar in Bjj and kickboxing and they work great. Good absorption so could probably handle controlled throwing safely. Great for groundwork! They stick together super well and no signs of wear yet!

Krajbay: Poor quality assurance. We bought two of these mats and while they are both well made the Velcro is sewn in the opposite direction on each mat making it impossible to adhere them to one another. Not worth the effort of going through the return service but this is just a lack of attention to detail.

Zanitta Grant: My 10 year old daughter is a acro dancer and is always wanting to practice her tricks. This mat was the perfect purchase. It does take up a lot of room so depending on your home, you may need to adjust furniture every now and then, but it's a small sacrifice for a big gain. My daughter was able to achieve her front aerial with this mat. Money spent very well!

shawn w.: My daughter is 10 and I wanted to get a mat for her to perform her gymnastics moves. Something good for her height and size. I spent a long time looking at all the sizes provided by multiple companies and reading reviews. This one was by far the best. For a kid her age, 10 feet long and 4 feet wide is perfect. It is long enough for her to do her moves but not too narrow either like 3-foot-wide mats. Being 2 inches thick is perfect as well because it provides just the right amount of cushion. Plus, it has handles once folded up to be carried away. Best bang for your buck. Very durable. Not too heavy to make you struggle but not too light making worry if it won't stay in one place. When my daughter gets older and bigger, I would get a longer mat but this is perfect for a kid between 7 and 12 who is in the 4-to-5-foot range. If your kid is 5'6" and above, I would get a longer mat but make sure it is still at least 4 feet wide.

MattMatt: When I first saw the boxes arrive to my home I was pleasantly shocked. They were definitely big as one would hope for them to be. I say this because I was paranoid as to what 4 X 10 would look like in person.

I opened the box with a box cutter, let me add that I strongly advise you to open these with the utmost caution, given that the mat material is only covered by a thin plastic bag. If you use a box cutter, as I have, please only use the most minimal incision depth to avoid punctures to mat material.

Upon removing the mats, the first thing I noticed was the Vinyl Material. It was very much solid in that it wasn't baggy on the mat like other folding mats I have seen before. The material was firmly fitted with minor slack in certain areas, which is normal with any vinyl mat cover. The vinyl was very supple and not abrasive like other mats I have seen.

The mat has on each end a strip of Velcro, to attach other mats to it. They also have a convenient handle once folded for easy carry. Best part is they come with a 2 year warranty.
