If you want your coffee making to be a 5+ step process and take 2-3 times longer than it could, then add a star as it does work fine. This might be the one for you.
For me it took too long and was too high maintenance; it needs to be cleaned regularly. It might be too complicated for the non-tech savvy crowd.
@Amazon - Flavor shouldn't be a Rate feature on a pour-over coffee machine, that's vastly determined by the bean freshness & quality of water.

This coffee maker is frustrating to use! At least 1 out of every 3 brewing attempts fails with a "water shortage" error message, despite the water tank being filled to the max line. I have contacted GEVI support about this multiple times over a month and have not received any sort of reply.
The machine doesn't prompt you to add more water before continuing to brew, it simply silently aborts the brew. Showing a "brewing done" message with the cup clearly empty that later displays the water shortage error message after you click "done". There's also no way to get back to this pre-brewing stage without re-weighing your beans and running the grinder. This happens EVERY SINGLE DAY. For the price, I expected something a bit more reliable and support that didn't just respond with "like a smartphone, you might need to turn it off and on again to fix problems". Fix your horribly broken UI and software on this premium machine!

First off, this is a gorgeous piece. We got the blue and the aesthetics are beautiful. The hardware is easy to detach, clean and put back together.
It brews an fantastic pour over cup of coffee and the scale attachment is well thought out.
The multiple functions are lovely, especially having a kettle mode (more on that in a bit)
In general, it is visually pleasing and superficially easy to use.
That being said, this product is absolutely not worth its price. There are too many options on the market right now. After our year of experience I would never purchase this again or recommend it to anyone.
We drink pour over coffee and up until making this purchase we ground the beans and warmed the water and poured the water. We liked the process but thought this would be a fun splurge to be able to be more efficient and have fun with it.
This does not save time. We have had to coax this machine through pours and watch it closely for months at this point. We can’t walk away or the filter will...
