JBY: It does what my Mr. Coffee did up until it broke 10 days ago. Coffee is excellent, same gurgle-y noise at the end. Cord is very short and refuses to hang straight. One of the kinks in my cord hangs down in front of my microwave. Even after a week, it is still not relaxing and prevents me from using the microwave or almost pulls the coffee pot off the top of the microwave. I can’t believe how difficult the cord is.

audrey hawkinsaudrey hawkins: As my coffee consumption has decreased I needed a small coffee pot. I don’t need much in the way of bells and whistles and this has none. A standard small drip coffee maker, there’s no clock or timer or modes, just provide water, beans, electricity, about 20 minutes and a #2 paper cone filter. I was a little surprised the first time I used it at how loud it could be. A series of fairly loud clicks happens while it’s brewing, no idea why, but it doesn’t seem to be doing any harm.

Having used it daily for a couple of months the sound doesn’t bother me, the coffee is hot and it has an automatic shut off after an couple hours. I also haven’t experienced any drips onto the hot plate, which is very nice.

jessica: We tried another brand for a small coffee pot and it "leaked" with every pour, to load the pot and to fill a cup. This one does not and we are pleased with it. I do wish the reusable filter had a lip handle to grab. The whole filter holder does but not the specific reusable part, I have tossed the whole thing by accident a few times but getting better and remembering to reach in and not grab the "lip".

laura: I am happy with my purchase of this coffee maker. It doesn't make a large amount of coffee but perfect for me! The temperature is just right, it's easy to use not complicated didn't even read the directions. My coffee tastes good. That's important. I will say that the pot itself has a small opening in which to pore from and to fill. The coffee basket swings open so very easy to access. It does come with its own filter but I prefer paper filters as I like a smoother flavor (may just be my imagination). The filter is adequate but has a delicate structure and may not hold up with long term use of cleaning. The area to pour the water into is small but adequate. For the money it's a good choice. I would give it five stars except I am not sure the long term use of this coffee maker will provide the 15 years +++ I had with my other coffee maker that was definitely made a bit better than this one.

gala: Makes great Hot coffee Very Slowly, the coffee maker is very light so you have to hold it when taking the carafe out, it’s 600 watts, on the Amazon description it stated 1100w, I do like it am glad I bought it, perfect for 1 or 2 people.
I’m using #2 paper cone filter instead of the one that came with it.

John: I purchased this coffee maker because it has no BPA in the plastic (supposedly) and its a good bran name. Having say so, while it looks great on the picture, it does not feel or look any different than a $20 black and decker as far
as been flimsy. So overall this is just too expensive for the few features it has, and I feel I have been ripped off.
