holly: This is an awesome textbook. For someone who has struggled with Math all my life, this book (with the help of my professor) has helped me understand things in such a clear cut manor. The book explains things very detailed, but not overly worded where it seems overwhelming. There are real life examples, and some good pop culture illustrations.

Amazon Customer: Awesome math book and very comprehensive. Was in great condition when I received it. Glad that amazon has the ability to rent out college text books rather than me having to spend 5X as much money buying the book and trying to resell after semester is over. Very helpful. Would recommend.

Britt P: This book was very useful for my introductory college algebra class. Following the study guides/reviews/tests in the book I managed an A in the class.
My only complaint is that there was only answers to odd questions in the chapter questions section. I would give this book 5 stars of there was answers to all questions.

himeashine: I really like this book because of it's step-by-step process. It's pricey for a reason, but thanks to Amazon, I got 20$ off compared to the college store price. It's worth the money if you're someone who's not into studying on a computer. For college students: you can even buy it cheaper as an e-book (access code w/ no book) on mymathlab as long as you have your teacher's course code. Overall, the book is great!

Deanna Maylek: This is a great book. I didn't personally use it; my son who is a college student did. Math isn't a passion for everyone. Our family tends to be more on the artistic side so we would rather spend our money on music books or painting supplies - not $100 plus algebra books that we will never use again. The rental program that Amazon has for students is really wonderful. You can renew the book if you happen to need it for more than one term. The books arrive quickly and you just do a return and send it back when you're finished using it. All of this happens at a small fraction of the price of outright buying the book. I also applaud the program because of it's resource efficiency. Students who need these books can save money and these books are reused over and over again rather than ending up in the landfill or collecting dust on someones shelf for years because it's too painful to throw a $200 textbook away. This program is a real stress reliever to students who are trying to pay for their education without taking loans and being in debt when it's all over. So, my family thanks you for this program!
