Kevin: Math is such a hard concept for me and it always was such a hassle passing any math with a c. This however, broke it down to a level and concept that I very easily understood. Especial when it came to algebraic expressions. That was a hassle itself but I was able to pass the class with a B and got my degree! When 3rd times the charm doesn't work buy this book you won't regret it.

C. A. OlsonC. A. Olson: I wanted to brush up on math I've forgotten and thought a big book of problems would help. This fits the need perfectly with one negative - the kindle format displays many of the problems with bad spacing. You'll get the first line of a problem followed by the second and third parts of the same problem spread over multiple lines with large spaces between the parts.

Andrea: I bought this book for my 7th grader. He feels the examples are helpful, but the questions are at easy side. It’s a decent book overall.

Lillian: I bought this as a workbook to give my son a head start on algebra 2 over the summer. My son is 14 and is advanced in math. The examples are short but precise and clear that it was perfect for him to self taught. It’s also great to refresh my algebra 2 so I can help my son when he needs it. I bought 4 different workbooks to compare and this is the best by far. I like the problems at the end of each section to practice and have the answer key in the back to check my work.

Abira: This might as well be the most confusing textbook I've ever seen. Problems are 10x harder than examples. Explanations are horribly taken out and this won't serve you any good. Lots of typos and the answer key is just numbers. Not anything that explains why the answer is that. The only time it was a little bit good was the first chapter (a little useful techniques in basic linear algebra even though its like 10 pages) but the others are garbage.
Pros: (the Ns)
-not bad shipping (arrived really good)
-not the worst basic linear algebra techniques (as mentioned above only 10 pages-ish)
Cons: (the Hs)
-Horrible examples
-Horrible explanations
-Horrendously Bad Answer key
-Horrific example-answer difficulty level.
CONCLUSION: I have bought Algebra I and Trig as well and wasted all my money. McGraw-Hill is a terrible textbook series and if I were you I would just get a list of topics to learn and watch youtube or buy a shaums outline series (as a supplement(workbook), not a full textbook.) So yeah... DO NOT BUY PLEASE.

Heather M.: Overall good clear practice if you need a refresher ...but you have to play close attention because there are many typos and small errors in the book that could throw you off if you don't double check things

L. Baran: Good book review, but so far on page 1 there is an error on page 1 in the explanation on what number to use when solving the problem. If you don't know math, it will throw you off.
