Ima Goober: I have owned various other brands and styles of clip in pocket knives. Some are a bit clunky or not user friendly. I have found this paraframe to be an excellent jack of all trades. I carried this when I worked in retail and frequently needed to open boxes in order to stack merchandise or break down boxes for the recycle bin. I have also used it as my every day utility knife on the garden and farm for everything from cutting twine, scoring drywall, to harvesting corn and zucchini. And if I find myself in a sketchy area, walking back to my car, it’s easy to tuck it in my hand with thumb on the flip knob, keeping it ready.
The slender, all metal frame allows it to be fairly obscure and lightweight. I can even wear this in my skinny jeans. It tucks away nicely, and does not “print” or get in the way. It is very easy for one-handed deploy. And once you learn the trick for folding, that can also be done one-handed. Occasionally,, I do have to carefully re-Bend the clip to its snug position because it can start to pull outward with use. I have also found it fairly easy to sharpen. Willie: I have been carrying one of these knifes everyday for many years. I have probably lost a half dozen over all those 10-15 years. I always try to find this exact knife with the partial serrated edge but I have owned both. Its just a good knife and easy to keep a very sharp edge.

Brad: A lovely pocket knife but totally illegal to carry a blade that locks without a very good reason to have it on you. Locking mechanism is tricky but works well. Bought 2 but one going back and the other staying only in my workshop for day to day use. There should be a warning about the legality of this knife. Dimensions fine, but the locking isn't okay. Wickedly sharp too.

WolfmanWolfman: I work in a commercial kitchen and use this knife 40+ hours a week. Usually I'm just slicing through postal tape to open boxes, but I also use it to open food packages. This brings me to my first pro - this knife is really easy to keep clean. It gets pretty grimey after cutting through dozens of bags of poultry, but the skeletonized scales make it a breeze to wash. I never have to worry about cross-contamination from a piece of food getting stuck in the liner. I've considered switching to a knife from CRKT's M16 series, but the Paraframe just has a more open design. Also they're considerably cheaper, which is actually my second favorite thing about the knife. I previously had this exact model and lost it. Losing a $100+ Benchmade or Spyderco would have been a real bummer, but losing a paraframe was more of a minor inconvenience. There is a peace-of-mind that comes with not actually caring about your knife. If I bend the tip or chip the blade... whatever, I'm out fifteen bucks. Whereas ruining some nice M90 or S30V steel would make me pretty salty.
