This George Foreman 5-Serving Removable Plate Grill and Panini Press is a top-of-the-line appliance that is perfect for any kitchen. Its premium ceramic coating makes it nonstick, so food won't stick to it. Plus, the sloped grilling surface helps remove up to 42% of fat from meats for healthier meals. This grill is also highly giftable and comes in a convenient size. Cleaning and maintenance is a breeze, as the plates are dishwasher safe and removable. Get the best performance, design, and quality with this George Foreman Grill and Panini Press.Georgette Vandenhouten: I use my George Forman for a verity of things. I cook bacon on it , because it doesn’t make a mess, grilled all meat. Many years ago I had the old style grill were the grill plates were not removable, this new machine is awesome. And it drains from the front because of the tilt of the plates.

KJKJ: The main issue is the size. Why it says 5 servings is completely false. I can fit 2 normal size frozen burger patties or 2 quesadillas at best. You could fit 5 slider sized burger patties possibly. This unit is good for a single person or maybe a couple. I wouldn't use it to cook a meal for 4. The heat-up time is a bit slower than the Large original Foreman grill I first had.The heating area isn't as consistant as the original grill as well (I'm sure do to the removeable grills). Where it shines is the clean-up. It is so much easier with the removeable grills. (the original was a pain to clean).

hamilton917: Pros:
1. Automatic height adjustment
2. Temperature is constant, but seems right. Not too hot. Haven't burned anything yet
3. Removable cooking plates are easy to remove, clean and replace
Cons:
1. Don't think it will cook 5 of anything besides hotdogs; certainly not 5 hamburgers or sandwiches.
2. Does not have temperature control
3. Heavy and takes up space
I would recommend this product, but not for someone who has physical limitations unless they have space to leave out on the counter. I keep it in the pantry as we don't use it often. But we have used for burritos, grilled cheese, hamburgers and paninis. Fine product overall. Glad I bought it - perfect for 2-3 servings realistically.

George Antler: I am really happy with this product the removable plates make clean up easy ,only complaint I have is the size of the cooking surface is not big enough to do 4 frozen hamburger patties at the same time. But overall its a great grill.

sapphire: Very familiar with this appliance as it is replacing a much older model. Easy to clean with removable grill plates and updated grill surface technology. Bigger than our older model so a little more difficult to store.

Amazon Customer: I had a George Foreman grill like this before but a different model, you could remove the plates to wash them. However, this new grill the first time I cooked on it the plates pop off while the grill is hot and in use. I hope I didn't get a defective one. I am not going to send it back because I have already used it three times and i'm sure my husband threw away the box. If the plates didn't come off I would definitely give this product 5 stars.

DevonDevon: Let me preface this by saying I am an incredibly poor cook. I'm pretty good at pancakes, mediocre at omelets, and for all intents and purposes incapable of anything else. I'm the person who can't boil water without messing it up somehow. I also love steak with a passion and have ruined dozens of them trying and failing to cook one.
Someone at work suggested I try a George Foreman grill and I was skeptical, of course. Still, I bought one. The setup was easy, just needed to rinse off the two ceramic plates, pop them on, and put the grease catcher under it. The instruction booklet came with a basic guide for how long to cook things like steak and salmon, so I began.
The first thing I loved was how idiot proof the operation is. There are no buttons, no dials, and two lights. Plug it in and it starts heating up. When the green light turns off, it's ready to cook. No aerosol spray needed and evidently it shouldn't be used regardless.
So I put a little butter and salt on my steak, threw it on the grill, closed it, and waited 5 minutes. Opened it up, sliced open the steak a bit, not quite done. Two minutes later, I had an excellent steak which took practically no...

Bargn Hntr: What a bargain! My grill heats up just fine, as long as you let it preheat for 20 minutes. If you do that you get a sear top and bottom. If not, you get lumps of gray cooked meat. It will comfortably hold 3 good sized burgers or 5 burger chain with clown mascot sized ones. I even made cheese burgers with it and the melted cheese stuck to the burger not the grill. How awesome was that?! Anyway, here's what I found:
Good: A nice size for a 1 or 2 person meal. Non stick plates are very non stick, and seem good quality, especially for the price.(check the price on one ceramic pan and tell me I'm wrong). Super easy to clean, but based on experience with other "dishwasher safe" non stick surfaces I'm not trusting it to my dishwasher. Cooked a good sized burger to med rare in under 3 minutes after it's heated up.
Bad: 20 minutes to heat up not 8 as instructions say. Don't trust the stupid lights. As other reviewers have hinted at they may work and may not, and if they do work, they may be reversed. My unit both lights come on when plugged in and the green light goes off when heated up. That's the opposite of the way it should be according to the instruction. Humorous, but not a...

Kitten owner: I had an older George Foreman grill that we used frequently. But I like this new one so much better the grills are dishwasher safe and easy to clean and is easy to assemble and put away and of course the food we cook on it tastes great.
