Julio Serrano: Estoy construyendo una escalera de herrería que va del patio al segundo piso, han sido varios cortes en ángulos diferentes y esta escuadra ha sido mi mejor aliada. Desde mi percepción ningún instrumento de precisión es de uso rudo, simplemente hay que saber manipularlos para que no se 'muevan' una vez calibrados. Altamente recomendable.

Jarrad Whited: I love this tool, although I do not use it often it does come in handy when I need it. I used it a few times when cutting weird angles on trim and a few other building projects. Definitely worth the money.

López: No tengo quejas, salvó por la calidad del plástico que es bastante barato, pues se marca y abolla con facilidad, fuera de eso, me parece un muy buen instrumento para piezas grandes y medianas. Para espacios pequeños dónde ocupaba medir ángulos internos me estorba el propio aparato, pero aún así, es un muy buen producto que te saca de broncas

Jeremy Burton: Overall, I am very happy with this gauge. It's very accurate, very easy to use, doubles as a standard bevel gauge if the battery where dead of if I just wanted to transfer an angle and didn't need to know what that angle is.

The only complaint I have is that the body is plastic. The "arm?" is metal, and the knurled locking knob is metal; I assume both some form of stainless, but the body that contains the electronics is light plastic.

The product description doesn't suggest otherwise, so I can't complain, but I thought it looked like aluminum or stainless, so I'm a little disappointed.

Anyway, all the important stuff is great and I like it a lot.

mtflyfish: I’ve been using this for a few months now. At first I didn’t think I would use it much but I actually use it most everyday. The house we’re working on has walls and roof eaves that follow a curve, so all the fill-in framing that ties in meets at a different angle and/or slope, requiring a miter or a bevel, or a compound miter. This tool eliminates a lot of math and the steps of measuring an angle with an old-school bevel gauge, tracing that angle onto your material, then lining up your saw or speed square to find the exact degrees. If you have this tool calibrated properly, you can gauge the angle quickly, often to within a couple tenths of a degree, and quickly move on to your cut.

The drawbacks to this tool are that 1) the self-zeroing feature is not quite right, over a degree off, and with mine I have find a nice flat surface to zero it out. Once calibrated, you can work for a while with that setting, but I zeroing it out any time you tuck the blade into the handle or after it’s sat idle for a while.

The other drawback I’ve found is that the nut that holds the blade sometimes unthreads itself in my bags as I’m walking around or working on other things....
