Ellen W: The build quality is good. The markings are nicely engraved. The hole in the arm is not perfectly centered (about .1mm off), leading the reading to be a little off. But I don't expect better than that.
it's not that this protractor is made in China (guess where your phone came from). The reason is we paid $13.58 for it. The Starret C19 goes for $114.

Shop Tarts: Would have liked to see the tick mark a tad more accurate. Checking against a machine block I can see it is off by a fraction of a degree. So I'll probably try to carefully scratch in a new mark. Pretty decent overall though.

Robert M.: Not the most refined instrument but this is good to about 1/4th of a degree give or take. Note it's graduated at each degree but you can estimate between the tick marks to get a bit more accurate. I doubt it was made in Japan...likely made in China given the level of quality, but this is a guess on my part. Over all not bad for the money.

Matteo: Goniometro che ho adoperato tempo fa in un'officina non mia e con il quale mi trovavo molto bene.
Dava l'impressione di essere ben fatto, sufficientemente solido e con le scritte resistenti alla sporcizia ed agli agenti chimici.
Dimensioni adeguate, né troppo grande, né troppo piccolo.
Ben fatto anche il dispositivo di serraggio.
Avevo quindi deciso di acquistarne uno per me, malgrado il prezzo un po' troppo elevato.
Purtroppo l'oggetto non è mai arrivato, come molto spesso accade con le spedizioni dalla cina.
Segnalato il problema, ho ottenuto il rimborso.
Peccato.
