Bryce: I didn't buy these for their intended purpose so I can't speak to that. I got these for tuning fountain pen nibs and they work well for that purpose.

Rangerhgm: I have Gearwrench wrenches which are excellent and this appears to be the same quality.
I like the knurled knob....makes it easy to loosen, search for the blade(s) you want and then lock them in place to keep the rest from falling out.
This set has a nice range of blades. I no longer have to place 2-3 blades together to get the size I need.
I checked several with digital calipers and they a spot on.
The only issue was the .024 blade was in backwards. Not a big issue with the knurled knob.....remove the knob, pull out some blades, reverse the one and put them back together.
As mentioned in some other reviews, the numbering on the blades could be a little darker, but not a big deal.

B8001: All of the gauges appear to be accurate. The only thing I had to test them with was a fairly inexpensive set of digital calipers, but they appeared to be pretty close. My only complaint is that the holder had really sharp edges. The burred edges were sharp enough to cut a person. Rather than send them back and try to find a better quality set that is undoubtedly going to be more expensive, I took a Dremel with a felt polishing wheel and polish to the edges and got the edges of the holder smoothed out. I sure miss the days of being able to buy USA made tools and expect quality. Unfortunately, it seems that in order to compete with the Chinese made products, everyone is cutting corners in order to reduce costs and the end result is a product that is no better than a Chinese made product but still costs more. It's a shame!
