This thing looks just like the pictures. I was looking for something small with a lot of space that I could use when taking long walks in the forest near my house, and this is just what I was looking for.
Only complaint is that the side pockets are a little smaller than I imagined, but otherwise I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Was not expecting it to be so small, was hoping it would be bigger. I know the size is posted in the description and maybe I misjudged the measurements in my head, so that isn't a factor in this review. As a bag, it looks to be of good quality, though only leather straps, the rest is some kind of durable canvas with a lining inside. Very thick, and sturdy though I haven't tested how waterproof/resistant it is so I don't know if it is or isn't. It's a perfect travel bag to carry small personal items, with many pockets and heavy duty zippers, but if you wanted to fit shoes, coat, or other larger items in it one of those will most likely take up the entirety of the storage space. Other than that, it's good for what it is but don't be thinking it'll take up your whole back, it's more like a small backpack or a tall purse with shoulder straps.

This bag is making it's inaugural trip with me as I type, and I'm very pleased so far.
I was looking for something good looking, reasonably sized for storage under the plane seat in front of me, and with lots of storage options.
This is exactly what I was after. It's definitely not big enough to be your ONLY bag in a trip longer than a day or two, but as a supplemental bag it's perfect. All my stuff for on the plane in there, plus assorted stuff for later on the trip, all tucked away in different pockets and compartments.
It's comfortable to wear, seems durable, and looks good. I would *maybe* add one more pocket on the back side (up against your back), but there is one there already, which is already one more than any of my other backpacks. And maybe a couple loops for clipping stuff to. But these are minor nitpicks.
I plan to empty it and carry it around the various towns we're visiting to carry day to day essentials (sunscreen, water bottle, etc) and to add souvenirs.
It's not super quick to open, which works to my advantage here (harder to open sneakily means harder to pickpocket from) but easy enough that you won't be...

I bought this bag a four years to use for college. I'm graduating next semester and figured nows the time to write a review for my trusty pal. This bag has gone with me everywhere the past four years. It is the best backpack I have ever owned. It carries everything i need, I once fit my laptop + charger, 3 hard cover textbooks, a few notebooks, my planner, an annoyingly large lab coat and goggle, a water bottle, plus lots of side pockets for any miscellaneous items, it sucked walking with all of that but i was so proud of this bag it was okay. I have walked a several miles across campus in the pouring rain and nothing inside my bag got even a drop. Great for traveling as well, I use it as a carry on bag or just an overnight bag. There are so many pockets!! It's quite comfortable bag as well, even with all of the heavy stuff in it. I have only had one problem with it and that was one of the buttons holding the strap fell off within about a month of owning it. The other one snaps off periodically but I haven't lost it so I've had no issues with closing the bag. Ordered this backpack to be my everyday one for taking items to work and back. Many small pockets inside and out to store small items and it can carry a small laptop or tablet if necessary. Quality seems pretty good but I'm not using it as a hiking or outdoors pack.
