Habe mich genauestens an die Anleitung gehalten und siehe da: es funktioniert. Endlich eine klare Sicht beim Schnorcheln. Gehalten hat es zwei Einsätze (mit anschließender Reinigung) danach musste ich es erneut auftragen. Was aber nicht schlimm ist, da man nur eine kleine Menge benötigt. Klare Empfehlung.

First off, these worked nicely to minimize fogging.
There. Now that that is out of the way, let me rant slightly about a product called "sea drops" that are not supposed to be used in diving equipment.
Based on the product description, cameras and optical equipment, and *windows* are the optimal things for the drops. Windows? Granted, I am sure there is possibly an issue with fishing trawlers in the North Sea having fogging issues, and we want the people who bring us our fish-sticks to be able to see, but you would need a *lot* of these containers to cover that much glass.
A little does go a long way to be honest - I used 4-5 drops in a facemask of a helmet, let it dry after spreading evenly, then buffed with a soft cloth. The mask was worn in Atlanta, GA in late AUgust, in a crowd of about 40,000 people, so it was warm. The fogging was almost non-existent compared to when I didn't have the drops.
There is a somewhat sharp smell to the drops when first applied, but that goes away once dry. That is also the reason you are not supposed to use the drops in dive masks - rewetting the stuff can make a stingy sauce for your eyes, which you...

My kids, husband and I swim every week in a chlorinated pool for about 2 hours and we needed new goggles as our inexpensive ones from a major discount big-box store were not fitting well. Also, based on our past experience I wanted a good de-fogger as well. I purchased new goggles for us (
Aqua Sphere Kayenne goggles (blue lenses)
and
Aqua Sphere KIDS Seal 2 Pack Swim Goggles
for the kids) as well as the Sea Drops Anti Fog cleaner. The new goggles fit great and we used the goggles a couple of times (without using the Anti-fog drops) and then they fogged up so I pulled out the Anti-Fog drops.
Sure enough they clearly say not for swim goggles, but after reading the positive reviews I tried using the drops--put 1 drop in each lens and outside each lens, let it dry and then rinsed them off. It worked perfectly! We are able to swim about 2 times before we need to re-apply and because I can't remember to do it every other time I essentially apply the drops after each use so they are dry when we need them next. I'm not sure why I'm applying on the outside, but since I'm only using 1 drop I'm not...

I had never used any product like this before. They work great. I tried two different methods, and they both worked.
Note: I only washed and treated the inside of the lens. I think treating the outside is ret@arded - simply a waste of product and effort.
1. I rubbed toothpaste and a touch of water on the inside of the lenses to make sure they were nice and clean. I dried them thoroughly, applied two drops to each inside face, rubbed, and removed excess/buffed with a non-lotion tissue. This offered very good results.
2. A few days later, I noticed the masks were fogging up again. On the beach, I appled a couple drops to each inside of lens and rubbed around. I rinsed excess in water before putting on, and it worked really well. This method is exactly the same as using spit, except this stuff lasts a nice long time.
Great product. Mask stays really very fog free for quite a while.

I practice karate & I wear glasses. This is not a happy combination - I spend too much time picking my glasses up off the mat. So I went out & bought a pair of sports goggles, they stay on but fog up something fierce. (My *opponents* like sparring with a blind man, though... ;-) For those who don't practice the Ancient Asian Art of kicking-below-the-belt: it is the *ultimate* workout. You sweat an unbelievable amount, making this a true stress test for anti-fog goop. I tried an old spray-on I use for my motorcycle face shield - but that did next-to-nothing to help.
I hit good ol' Amazondotcom & found the three highest-rated anti-fog products & tried them out on successive weeks.
NUMBER THREE is the artfully-named "Cat Crap"

It's a waxy substance, you smear it on & by the directions buff it until clear. But I don't know how to tell the difference between "buffing until clear" and "wiping it off."
