JimP: Yes, it's pricey but worth it to protect your instrument. Don't go cheap when it comes to protecting your instrument. I thought my Carvin bass soft case would accommodate my new G&L-1000 but the G&L headstock was too big; I wasn't comfortable with the tight squeeze, knowing a good bump could break a tuner. This Gator is the perfect size for the G&L large headstock and it's not only sturdy but full of features. Much nicer that the Carvin case which is very good. Definitely recommend.

Giovan Battista Salinetti: Ottima custodia con un livello di protezione elevato. Le tasche sono molto utili e pratiche e il vano interno foderato in microfibra da un senso di vera sicurezza per lo strumento.
Anche il peso è abbastanza contenuto.

Elettronicroller: Ci tengo a sottolineare che la custodia di per se è ottima sotto tutti i punti di vista e meriterebbe 5 stelle, però.... , il rivestimento esterno è molto resistente, e l'imbottitura interna davvero molto buona. Quello che non va sono le cuciture, non mi convincono, in una delle tasche piccole la fodera interna è cucita male ed ostruisce parzialmente la tasca, per usarla dovrei tagliare la tela, ma non credo che sia il caso di farlo. Anche gli spallacci non mi convincono del tutto, le cuciture non sembrano molto resistenti, ed ho paura che con l'utilizzo cedano. Volevo restituirla, ma alla fine l'ho tenuta perché avrei dovuto anticipare le spese di spedizione, infatti è arrivata dentro una scatolone assurdo che doveva per forza essere spedito con un corriere privato diverso da poste italiane, di custodie dentro quello scatolone se ne potevano mettere quattro una sopra l'altra, non riesco a comprendere questa scelta di chi ha spedito, potevano semplicemente avvolgere la custodia in carta bolle e carta da pacchi essendo comunque la custodia sigillata nel cellophan, tra l'altro la scatola è arrivata aperta...., la custodia però era perfettamente sigillata e integra, rispedire...

M. Love: I have several Gator products including amp cases and various guitar cases. I have never yet been disappointed with a product from Gator. They always make top quality gear. This bag is a great addition to their line. I also own a top of the line Reunion Blues RBG1 guitar case/bag. Comparing the two bags, I would say the Gator G-PG is very close to the Reunion Blues in quality and overall protection. One thing I like about both of these cases is the fact that they open up completely, like a hard case, as opposed to the way some gig bags only open enough to slide the guitar in (while trying not to scratch it against the zipper). I like a case that you can open and check out the guitar before lifting it out. The Gator bag also has some features not found on the Reunion Blues bag like a removable body insert (to accommodate longer guitars) and a front handle (which I find very handy on any gig bag type case) and lastly a rain cover, which is conveniently tucked away in its own little pocket.. I doubt that I will use the rain cover, but I can see where it would be handy to have for some musicians who are outside a lot. Another comparison is that the shoulder straps on the Reunion Blues...

reviewer: This is an interesting new design from Gator with different models available for acoustic and electric guitars. I bought the electric model, Gator G-PG Electric Pro Go Series Gig Bag.

The design elements, materials and construction are high quality. The tough outer fabric of the case has one large cargo pocket with an integrated iPad compartment, sewn-in Velcro cable loops, and various interior pouches for a few pedals or other items, plus room for a good sized binder holding your sheet music in the main compartment. There are also several smaller pockets in different places around the exterior of the bag, each secured by a good zipper.

There were a couple of design points that interested me when I first learned about this gig bag: the full weather cover that stows in its own pocket, and the removable backpack straps that can be attached to different points to allow for a more flexible fit.

Now that I've used the bag several times to transport my instrument, I can see that these features are designed and built well. The zippers are all quality. The backpack straps feel like they will stand up well to regular use without the padding breaking down. Since I use...
