Jamie S Russell: This thing has absolutely saved my life I do not have running water in my house yet I hook this to a propane tank a 20 gallon propane tank I take showers to 3 hours long sometimes I don't run out of hot water I absolutely love this product it has really been a godsend I am so grateful to have it as taking cold showers in the water hose outside is not something I enjoy since I got this I take extra hot showers it gets super hot and I take long showers and that tank lasts at least 30 hours before I ever have to refill it this is a fabulous product I highly recommend it

Drew: I really liked this water heater but I ended up returning it because it was too large once fittings and hoses were installed. I really wish these manufacturers would include measurements that include the fittings extruding from the bottom (one brand does but not this one). I tried to make it work but it just wasn't compatible with my install.
In my tests plumbed to a home garden hose it worked quite well, but at full volume it wouldn't keep the water super hot so I recommend not trying to have a high pressure shower with this.
BSP threads are nothing but a pain in North America. Every time you add an adapter you introduce another place something can leak. That's my biggest complaint with most of these heaters, its annoying and inconvenient. With the amount of people using these here they should at least start with the right fitting instead of just providing adapters.
Other than those complaints it did work well but I can't speak to longevity. I really liked the venting was more like a flue and the BTU is much higher than others.

McJanny: I bought this for an outdoor shower at our cabin. We struggles to get the water pressure high enough to light the gas. Gravity feed was not enough and a med pond pump was not either. We ended up buying a sump pump to get enough pressure. Even with the sump pump feeding the heater, occasionally we have to turn the water to "low" to keep the pressure up enough to light it.
Outside of that, it's a fantastic unit. We love it and have used it for the last 3 weeks.

Ndryan: I'm using it to heat an above ground pool.
Have a sump pump delivering the water from the pool to the heater and then a hose back to the pool. Works great. Only tweak is removing the screen filter on the intake part of the heater. It got plugged up often and then the water pressure wasn't good enough for the heater to come on.
In take water is 75. Comes out 115.
Rsises the pool temp on a 12*15 pool about 1 degree per hour.

StartupSlick: I have been using tankless water heaters for some time and I really like this one because it has been very reliable, but it has some issues.
Installation is a breeze, 1/2" braided hoses work great for install, there have been no leaks and the unit works reliably every time.
Problem is flow rate. I tuned the temp of the unit to the shower and it works fine and delivers great temp, however my sink flows more hot water. When I turn my sink on a little the unit will not fire up and deliver cold water, turn it on full blast and the water is lukewarm.
I have found that the heater will deliver various water temperatures based on flow rates of water fixtures. The only to fix this is make sure all your appliances have matching hot water flow rates which is not very practical.

ColtonColton: Unfortunately my last heater broke.. left in -40 without winterizing it. It was cheaper 199
And way bigger, and waaay hotter, burn your skin off hot.
All things considered, this thing does kick ass for the following reasons:
The water saving shower head with on/off 10/10
It does not get nearly warm enough will with water switch on high, which is fine because you save more water, it works perfectly on the low water setting which I actually like.
I also enjoy that with this unit being smaller it used less propane and therefore less exhaust gasses, which for my set up is crucial because it's "indoors"
With the exhaust far above my head almost touching the roof my maxair fan has no problem ventilating all fumes with no smell what so ever.
With this setup of course I have very short showers for obvious reasons.
The way the exhaust works you could vent it with dryer tubing and that was my first idea but I am happy I killed to birds with one stone having a very good fan/vent.
Anyways back to the until here. You can find $200.00 units if you look hard but I needed fast delivery so hence this unit worked.

Mikey: The media could not be loaded. Edit March 2023: The video and review below was written in February 2022. The shower is still going strong. It's been left outside (wrapped in a plastic bag when not in use) for over a year in all weather conditions. Drained it during freezing months and used it periodically through the winter - works like a champ. I would highly recommend this unit.
This thing works. The video is for a brief demonstration only, but I was using a 12v water pump drawing water from a 5 gallon container. If you're using it completely off grid, as we are, you'll need a water source and a pump. The pump in the video is an Eccotemp EccoFlo Diaphram 12v water pump (45psi, 3.5 amps) and strainer. This particular pump - as I'm sure with other similar ones - can self-prime about 30 feet horizontally and 6 feet vertically, so you don't need to have the pump below your water source.
The pump also comes with battery clamps so you can attach it to a regular 12v battery. I use a connector that has a cigarette style 12v connection that you can put into the DC output of a solar power station, for example. In my case, I'm using a Jackery 500.

Carlo: I installed this into a camper/ surf van and love having hot water on demand. My only reason for a 3 star review is that the controls don’t seem to do anything to chance the temperature. I didn’t read the instructions so it could be user error but I’ve spent the better part of my 40 years on this planet controlling far more complicated equipment and when you turn a knob and nothing changes so you try another and still no changes, you start to wonder if it’s just not operating correctly. After all, there’s only 3 knobs. It’s not rocket science. I feel justified in my 3 star rating because it shouldn’t be so hard to not scald yourself (my shower tonight was 124° half the time- ouch) and would be more than happy to try a new unit and update my review but I’m beyond my window to return so I can’t request a return or exchange. I’m currently looking into a mixer so I can add some cold water so I don’t get burnt.

Erik bennettErik bennett: This little heater and it brought us up to scalding initially and we had no problems with it, adjusting the temperature took a little bit to get used to but now it seems like I can't get a really hot temperature off of the unit. And the temperature fluctuates pretty significantly. I've tried adjusting make sure there was no wind Etc but can't seem to get the temperature to stay at a stable 110. Constantly trying to adjust both the water pressure and the flame knob to get the right temperature.
Would be decent for camping if you just wanted a quick shower. But have a hard time getting the water hot enough at times to do dishes Etc.
