Boats: I'm 67 years old I have had many many pairs of boots in my life time in the Navy and the nat.guard and my career as a truck driver.these are the most comfortable and well made boot I've ever had.

Camden: I'm in the US Army so I hear a lot about boots. Nike, standard issue, under armour, Oakley, and Garmonts, oh my! People have a pretty favorable view of these boots and for good reason.

Pros:
- GREAT for running.
- Very comfortable, definitely can be worn every day.
- Everything you could need in a boot pretty much.

I would highly recommend getting this boot even with the cons, but if one of them is a hard no for you, maybe reconsider. For example, if you're going to Ranger school you might not want these because of how slowly they dry.

Cons:
- Dry verrrryyy slowlyyy
- Very long break in process, like 40+ miles
- Not the best laces. If you're regularly in brush the laces will get ripped up.

Overall very happy with these and well worth the cost if it makes you a more effective soldier. I've heard they're very durable and last years, but after only 2 months of use I can only say they're great so far.

Isaiah: These boots are top quality. I have put many miles on these boots. There’s no other boot option for me when it comes to rucking. The comfort is top quality and it has a true fit. They are super lightweight. Once you break them in you’ll never switch to another boot.

Hermann K.: An excellent boot overall, comfortable and light. Some breaking in is still required. I would not recommend putting on a pair straight out of the box and doing ten miles hike. The catch is sizing for this specific model. I also have a pair of Bifida with a round toe box and those I wear in 12.5 and that's plenty. This model I had to order in 13.5. The toe box is definitely rather tight on these.

A.A: My go to boots, all day and everyday for years now. just make sure to order the wide version and one size up as these are narrow boots. You will have heel blisters so make sure to add a rubber or silicon sheet backing.

Francisco S.: trabajo como guardabosques , camino de 5 a más de 20 km. por día, cinco días a la semana en un cerro con una altura de 2,830 mts. Clima cálido en la base , frío en la cima , verano lluvioso .Excelente desempeño la suela Vibram bífida en terreno seco , aún no me tocan condiciones húmedas para poder dar una opinión sobre el desempeño de la suela en piedras mojadas y lodo ; muy cómoda, resistente y duradera la suela de caucho.
Tuve problemas de ampollas en los talones en lo que se amoldaban las botas a mis pies , tengo problemas con las cintas en la zona del empeine , ya he intentado distintos tipos de amarre y es algo complicado encontrar la tensión correcta , para que quede bien fijo el talón y el pie en la bota , sin que las cintas me molesten o resbale mi pie, demasiada zona de contacto de la cinta con el empeine, incluso las uso poniendo una lengüeta extra y un pedazo de plantilla en la zona del empeine , para no terminar mi día tan adolorido de mi empeine . La plantilla es basura, no tiene buena amortigucion y absobe mucha agua . La piel buen grosor , pero al ser nubuck , absorben mucho el polvo y siempre lucen sucias , las pinté de negro por...

andrew rodriguez: I don’t usually write reviews, but I was just recommending these boots to a couple buddies, and felt compelled to write this.

Owned for 4 years now. These are the best boots I’ve owned. I’ve done hundreds of miles of heavy rucking in these boots. Did the Bataan and Norwegian multiple years with dozens of training rucks in between.
Couple things to note:
1. GET THE WIDE version (unless you have very narrow feet). They run narrow. I took a recommendation from a buddy who is a monster Rucker. He told me get the wide. He was right. They fit perfect from day 1.

2. Bypass the metal eyelets on the side with your laces. I initially laced them using the side eyelets. The first few rucks I did, they put way too much pressure on the tops of my feet. Once I bypassed the metal eyelets, they were perfect.

3. I have owned these for 4 years and have worn them daily for work (Army) in addition to rucking—in the field, summer, winter, rain, snow, mud, dust, etc. They are still in excellent condition. No sole separation, original laces, all stitching perfect.

Aaron Jacques: I love these boots so far, having put a couple hundred kilometres into them since purchase. Before you buy, I do recommend you keep a few things in mind:

I found that the size worked well for me when I ordered a half-size up from what I expected. I wear compression socks and have inserted plantar fasciitis insoles, and the fit is snug but comfortable that way. They do not move around, cause no undue fatigue, and sit exactly where they should.

As some reviewers have mentioned, there is a possible hot spot on top of your foot where one of the rivets pushes downwards into the boot. In my case, I found that the pressure was relieved as long as I made sure to pull the boot's tongue taut after inserting my foot - the tongue of the boot was bunching under the rivet and causing pressure, so when the tongue is pulled into its proper position that pressure is removed. This takes almost no extra time while donning the boots and has managed the issue completely for me, though I imagine people with differently shaped feet may have a different experience.
