Roxanna: Nice chipotle lime flavour - however the Gardein Ultimate Tenders are far and away the best vegan chicken tenders.. ever?!

Guitar Girl: I'm crazy about Gardein plant-based patties and Tenders. They are very tasty and have the perfect texture. I eat them every day along with a huge vegetable Platter. They have helped me and continue to help me transition to a completely plant-based diet to better my health. I am really grateful for these quality, tasty products. Now I actually look forward to eating every healthy meal I make instead of dreading all the unhealthy Sodium and sugar filled fast food that previously consumed my diet. Plus it only takes 15-20 minutes to make in my toaster oven and I don't even need to leave my house. Gardein means "faster food!" I've also lost a ton of weight. Not only do we get addicted to all of the sugars in fast food but we also become addicted psychologically to the textures and forms were eating for example, a patty or a burger. I can still have the same sensation of eating a patty, burger or tender everyday but now they're plant-based, taste even better than traditional fast food and are Super healthy for me. Problem solved. Gardein products have really changed my life for the better!

Frostfall: These are really flavorful, soy-based chicken fingers - you probably know the texture, which mimics the spongy quality of a fast-food chicken nugget rather than a real unprocessed piece of chicken.
Watch your portion size on these. I need four to fill me up (plus a veggie side) and the serving size suggestion of 2 pieces has 9 grams of fat and 360 mg of sodium. So four of these fingers is 30% of my daily and salt. Not the worst, but definitely watch how many you're consuming.
When cooking these, it's a good idea to flip them at least once so that they get crispy on both sides. And definitely don't use a microwave to cook them unless you want soggy, unappetizing soy. Crisp 'em up!

Solaris: Ok so Idk what’s wrong w some who said it’s nasty. My children who aren’t vegetarian LOVED this. They asked me if they could try and were really impressed. It tastes JUST like chipotle and lime. Delicious! I and for the reviews that say is “soggy or mushy”
You have to bake it.
I have a toaster oven. I put these on 425 and let it cook for about 20 mins or more depending on how crispy I want it. You can’t go wrong w these! Add them in to a salad, as a side to your main dish, or do what I did just ate them w ranch detesting for dipping.

I've tried a few Gardein products that I thought were pretty good, like their fake sausage crumbles, but I don't like these.
-The "batter" on them falls off easily, even if you fry them.
-The "chick'n" inside is spongey and not great, even in comparison to other fake chicken products.
-The Lime flavor is barely there, if even noticeable. I think the lime flavor is likely part of the breading. Might be better if they seasoned the "chicken" part with lime and THEN breaded it.
-Terrible value for the money. The portions are tiny for what you're paying, and I'm not a big eater.
I'd give this like a 2.5/5. Only way I'd buy them again is if they dropped the price to like $1/bag, then I could consider it cheapo food.
