Theresa Tomblin: This tent is SO MUCH BETTER than lugging an umbrella around! Umbrellas are difficult to anchor, have to constantly be adjusted, and one gust of wind either collapses them or whips them out of the sand to become a colorful javelin of doom. This tent pops in a second, has weight bags you can fill with sand, keeps the sun off yet allows the breeze to come through, and with a little practice folds up neatly. This bad boy has been tested in Key West and the shores of Lake Michigan by the palest of beachgoers, and I LOVE it.

Kimberlee A.Kimberlee A.: I read all the reviews to many pop up beach tents and this one had better ratings.

The tent worked great. It was very easy to set up, but definitely need two people to do so. We only needed to put sand in the bags that are attached to the tent itself. We never had to put sand in the other bags that you tie to the tent and pull out to keep it more sturdy from wind. We dug in the sand and used the wetter sand for the bags. It was breezy the day we used it and had no problems.
It’s big enough for 2 adults to sit in with a small child. If you want to sit in the tent on chairs, then only 2 people can fit.
I had no problems with folding it back up into the carrying bag. I practiced at home with folding it up so that I didn’t end up looking like I didn’t know what I was doing in front of lots of people. I would definitely recommend this tent to anyone.

Amazon Customer: So I used it on a windy day at the beach and definitely use the sand bags to hold it down. It was easy to put up but very difficult to fold down and put back in the bag. I couldn’t get it to collapse so I ended up putting it in the trunk of my SUv half way down lol A storm was coming and I didn’t have time to keep fumbling with it. My dad tried to put it back in the bag and it was hard to zip. It took two people to get it back in the bag. It’s a nice tent though and my son loves the color. Definitely better than a beach umbrella.

Amazon Customer: This pop up tent is a better height than another we tried. I was able to sit in it on a fold up chair but for two people side by side we had to have our chairs overlapping. My only real gripe is that it was a hot day (27c) and the tent was actually too hot to sit in which negated the purpose of buying it - it needs better ventilation. We managed to get it to fold back down in 3 attempts :-)

marcelo: Einmal im Urlaub benutzt. Machte einen super Eindruck. Es ist geräumig, die Hülle ist schön verarbeitet. Dank dem Netz, kommt von unten eine angenehme Priese Luft. Man kann es mit Heringen befestigen und Sand in die kleinen Täschchen füllen. Somit ist es nicht weg geflogen. Aber beim zusammen machen, ist es leider kaputt gegangen.

Mayra: It took me a few times to figure out how to disassemble it, but now I can see that it lost shape a little bit so maybe that's why it is so difficult to fold. Otherwise, good size and perfect for babies.

Passy1975: Auspacken und pop-up funktion ok.
Aber die Bodenheringe müssen eingesetzt werden, da sonst das "Zelt" nicht aufstellen lässt. Sprich: Es spannt nicht auf Bodenebene in die Breite.
Jetzt das Ni-Go: uns allen war es nicht möglich mit der Anleitung das Zelt wieder zusammenzulegen für die Tragetasche. Auch im Internet haben wir kein passendes Video gefunden.
Fazit: Zuviele Mankos.

pb: I just love this beach accessory!!! I love my beach trips so much more now!!! I don’t know why I didn’t get this (or something like this) sooner.

Pros:
Provides excellent sun protection, privacy, and storage.

—-Large enough for two low beach chairs plus backpack, small cooler, or tote bag storage.

—-Has large roll-down windows and handy inside storage pockets.

—-The outer flap snaps up to the top of the tent for optional privacy. When closed this tent is large enough inside for one person to change clothes or even stretch out horizontally to take a nap.

—-Versatile. I can see taking this on a car camping trip for extra storage or to provide a separate “reading area” that protects from the sun or a light rain drizzle.

—-Tent and tent poles fold into a “large bread loaf” sized storage bag, which easily fits into a backpack with plenty of room to spare.

—-It is reasonably easy to assemble, especially if you are an experienced tent camper.

—-Small storage footprint. Can easily fit in a backpack or beach buggy during beach season or on a shelf off-season.

Cons:
—-The stake are a bit small...

Nguyen Lagac: i love this beach tent! i have the ikea one and i used to love that but realized how i was compromising a lot with that. see, with this one, it is lighter and the way it folds up and fits in its carryjng bag, soooo much smaller. both tents are so easy to open up and set up, they’re pop ups so you basically unzip its carrying bag, take it out and let go. with the ikea one, you gotta make sure you have your own stuff handy to serve as weight holder. now this g4free tent comes with pegs and bags where you can put sand or rocks and even if you don’t use them, it’s roomy enough to accommodate all your beach knick knacks. i especially love this because of its size. it is way bigger than the ikea beach tent and it has a nice height, where you can stand inside, or put a chair or 2 inside and its still roomy. the mesh bottom sides provide so much air circulation. i found it perfect for napping. i really do love this tent. but i guess, the best part is- how easy it is to fold up. it has always been a struggle for me to fold the ikea tent back up and put it in its bag. the ikea illustration instruction even suggests 2 people. i spend a lot of time doing so. and still end up with a lot...
