shannon: I did not read other reviews before buying. When i opened the tea lights, i noticed there was not a timer setting. But upon reading the instructions online, you just flip to on setting and it does have a timer. 6 hours on 16 off. I have had it set for four days now..seems to have a good battery life. Idk.. i read alot of bad reviews after i received them. But they are just fine..they also flicker which I didnt realize they did, which was an extra added bonus. I Got the purple glitter ones for Halloween!!
