mouse: I bought this for my long hair cat over 10#. I, also, bought one for my short hair cat. Both are exactly the same. If I had known this, I would have bought only one. I thought this one would have longer teeth and be larger. To my disappointment, it does not. This one will probably never be used; a waste of my money.

Christopher Cha: Used to use a standard slicker brush. After trying it out, significantly more hair came out than any other brush I've used. My cat is a medium hair, so I thought it might not be useful in this case, but it was. Would recommend.

Louisa Sheen: I bought this for my Ragdoll Himalayan cat, to try and help him with his super thick coat. This is a de-shedder, so what I found works best is doing a thorough brush with a regular brush then going back over with the de-shedder, and it works very well.
My only con is that I feel like the de-shedder metal bristles are a bit short for my cats fur, but other than that this product gets the job done.
