EA Swift:
Nothing else we've tried is as good as Frontline Gold, no matter the cost.
The Gold version of Frontline has a 3rd chemical that further helps to block and kill the nasty bugses that wish to slurp your kitty's precious bodily fluids.
Our fur babies and our wallets are much happier since we found Frontline Gold at a decent price here (vs the vet). We apply it every month, without fail.
There is no scent that I can detect, and my smeller is pretty good.
It's easy to apply... if your floof doesn't freak out for no reason like our crazy kitter. Each time we put it on her, she hates it less and forgives me quicker, but for some reason she couldn't stand it at first. But seriously, I'm sure it's a quirk of our fluffball, and not the product. It's dead easy to use and your keyboard loungers will get used to it, I promise.

GypsyRose: We live in northeast Minnesota in the woods. Woodticks are always an issue. I had been using regular Frontline on my cats. I have three. They still came in with ticks. This is my first summer to use the Frontline Gold. So far not a single tick on any of the cats. All three have tolerated the solution. I love the system for administration. Quick, easy, efficient. I have to bite the bullet to pay the price. But boy is it nice not having woodticks brought into the house.

Divinity Love: I don't remember why I decided to change from the product I was using as it had always been effective but after reading about FRONTLINE GOLD, I thought it might be better as they advertise that it not only kills fleas but eggs and flea larvae and ticks. My cat has never been outside but still manages to get an occasional flea or two. Well, dear Lord, what a huge mistake it was to buy this product. The house became completely flea infested!!! My poor kitty was covered with fleas from top to bottom and they were running all over his body and in his eyes. He was completely miserable. I had never seen flea eggs before, but I started seeing tons of them everywhere (especially on my black desk pads). I thought the product was working and that the eggs were dead. NOT!!! Little fleas started hatching and jumping all over the place, even on me. I’m in the process of treating the whole house and have gone back to using what I used before which works... but this has been a costly mistake. I paid $96.56 for 6 doses plus the cost of treating a flea infested house. I might just as well have put water between his shoulder blades for the good this product did. It's too late...

M.C.M.C.: But it works! My cat doesn't like to be touched so I have to be quick and stealthy when I apply. I found the quickest way is cutting the bottom of tube. She seems annoyed and betrayed for a couple of hours which is better than angry and traumatized for days.
