Jen: wasn't sure this would work but Frontline didn't. We usually use advantage plus but i've recently agreed to take in a few extra kitties for a little while so I needed a better less expensive alternative. Decided to give this product a try and i'm thrilled with the results. Noticed one of the foster cats scratching like crazy so I got out the trusty (But hated) flea comb n went to work checking, didn't take long on the fist run through the comb came back covered in fleas the poor kitty was infested which means all of them were (Or soon would be) so I ordered Adventure Plus 8 doses and it came in the next day. Treated every cat (All 8) that morning and by that night the comb was coming up with mostly all dead fleas and by the next morning there wasn't a live flea on any of them. No adverse reaction no fur loss no seizures nothing bad has happened I will be buying this product from now on

Shauna Ow: We live in a very rural area with lots of roaming deer. Our 4 cats are strictly indoor, but they managed to get a whopping case of fleas anyway. Drove me crazy; bugs are fine, just not in my house.
This flea treatment WORKS. However, if you have an infestation, you're going to have to put a little more work into driving the beasties away.
Our multi-pronged approach: get a gallon sprayer along with a bottle of insecticide and insect growth inhibitor. (Make sure each specifies that it is ok to mix with the other.) Use this to spray around the base of your house and your yard outside, and baseboards/under furniture inside your house (also make sure your products have specs for interior treatments).
Wash all of your bedding/cushion covers, rugs, throw pillows (anything that can be washed) in hot water.
Salt your carpets/hardwood floors, furniture cushions, along baseboards. Sounds odd, but it dehydrates new hatchlings and eggs.
All of this combined should get your problem under control in about 2 weeks. After you're sure the fleas are gone, vacuum up your salt and continue to treat your cats once a month during peak flea season. The exterior insecticide should only need...

Audrie: I had so much trouble finding a variety of flea medicine that fulfilled my only two requirements:
1) It had worked for at least some people.
2) It didn't kill or severely harm the cat in more than a few rare cases.
I'm a firm believer that a handful of reviews from any given product were written by idiots who didn't use the product correctly, or who failed to heed the warnings on the labels. However, when there are five different people in one year whose cats got blisters, rashes, or giant raw spots where they applied the medicine... that's a red flag.
Thus, my struggle: every well known medicine I was familiar with was either ineffective or had killed/harmed numerous cats.
I am SO GLAD that I came across Adventure Plus while I was being disappointed by Advantage and the other common flea remedies. WIthin a day or two of putting the medicine on my cat, she was already much happier, the relief was evident.
Mind you, I had a huge massive flea infestation which I had been failing to get rid of through various means such as salt and vacuuming, or various flea sprays, in an effort to evade the thought of using a flea bomb and thus poisoning every...

Ryan Larsen: My cat used to be an outdoor cat and we've been struggling to keep the fleas off of her even though she hasn't been outside in months. With this, the fleas just travel to the top of her fur and sit there dead, you can pick them off easily or give your kitten a bath to remove the remainder of the dead fleas but I would definitely wait 1 week after the application to do that. If your cat is mentally challenged and tries to lick the product off, I'd suggest a cone of shame for the first day after application. It does not dry very fast and unless you have 5h to spare to keep an eye on your cat, I'd def recommend getting that cone.
