Frigidaire 36" Built-In Electric Cooktop with Smooth Ceramic Glass Surface (FFEC3625UB)

Andrew KAndrew K: I was able to install this cook top myself in under 2 hours with the removal of my old cooktop taking the majority of my time. It works great, I love the controls on the right side versus in the middle like some others and it seems to work very well so far!
The package did come damaged and I was concerned I’d be opening a broken cooktop like some of the other reviews but it was in great shape with no blemishes or cracks. The cooktop comes prewired with the electrical conduit pre-attached and all it took was installing the mounting brackets into the countertop, clear caulk and connecting the wires in my existing junction box with wire nuts to get this installed.
Overall the dimensions and cooktop are as described and at the time I purchased this, it was about $100 cheaper than Home Depot.
I should also note the delivery came about 4 days earlier than originally expected which was also great as big box stores don’t always have these on the shelves (mine didn’t).

All in all, if you’re looking for a glass electric cooktop for under $1k I would suggest this one 9/10.

Kim R.Kim R.: Had to order this stovetop early due to backorder issues because of COVID. We did a MAJOR remodel of our house and just started using this stovetop 5 days ago and one element is not marked correctly and the other looks like it is starting to peel. Contacted customer service and I only had 14 days for a cosmetic claim. Because I ordered the stove in January and only started using the stove in October because of the remodel they will not take that into account. If it had gone into a new house it would have been replaced but not for a remodel. Our remodel was a complete rebuild which makes it a new house in an old frame.

passinggas: First one I ordered never made it to delivery- damaged in shipping and returned to Amazon. Second one was delivered intact, fit my counter
and works perfectly! I wanted a cooktop that had the controls on the side, not in the front in the middle of the work area. They are hard to find. This one fit the bill. One star off for packing that certainly should be sturdier. One broken cooktop would pay for a lot of additional cardboard and styrofoam.

Nancy H.: I love this stovetop. It is the best one I’ve ever owned. One of my favorite features is the warm zone. I use it all the time. It is great when a food just needs to stay warm while you are finishing other foods. I love the quick boil burner. It is fast and intense heat. Boiled potatoes are done in ten minutes compared to 14 minutes on my old stovetop. I’ve had to learn to lessen my cook times for different foods. The price is great compared to other products plus it is a fantastic stovetop. Controls are great. Very sensitive to the different levels.
My rating would be a 10 but since there only five stars, I have to give it a five. LOL
