Nice and thick plastic, scoop is pretty big over all so if you have a small cat box it would be kind of pointless

Jane W. ~ W.: I needed something that works with non clumping kitty litter if you use the 2-3 inch tip it works good for that then for poo the back has slots that let’s the clay particles fall back into the box. It’s a big scoop. It’s a good one. Looks just like the photo but bigger than I imagined. It has a metal d ring for hanging.

Sheyla Morales: Me costó encontrar un buen recogedor que no dejara residuos en la arena. Este cumple con ese objetivo. Es grande y te ayuda a agilizar. Lo que sí recomendaría, sería tener cuidado al tirar los desechos, ya que algunas partículas pueden colarse entre los orificios y se caen al suelo. Procuro inclinarlo dentro del arenero para evitar ensuciar.

Miller: We use the Arm & Hammer clumping litter and never actually change it, I sift it through a colander once per month, and this scoop helps me clean the boxes more thoroughly between siftings. The fine mesh part of the scoop does help with that, but does occasionally get clogged when the litter is a little more "damp". The ergonomics of the handle is the part I don't like, and the very back of the scoop is the weak part, at first, it's OK, but over time, it tends to bend and flex, and eventually break as you can see from the photo attached. I've had two of them now, and they only last about 6 months, but at this price point, I can afford to just get another one. It's the only scoop on Amazon that has the fine mesh on the scoop at that price point that does the job the way I want it to.

J.S.: We use walnut shell litter, and the clumps break apart sometimes leaving little bits in the litter. This sifts those out and keeps the litter fresher longer. Nice size and sturdy.

Enrique Aguilar Camacho: Me encantó el tapete, mis gatos siempre dejaban arena siempre enfrente de la caja de arena, no tenían donde limpiarse o simplemente a veces se metían a jugar con ella y sacaban un poco... Eso me llegó a molestar, busqué soluciones en internet y ví que un tapete sería bueno... Todos me parecían de precio excesivo menos esté, no estaba muy convencido, pero me animé a comprarlo y vaya excelente sorpresa que me llevé, un tapete super funcional sin pagar excesivo, sin duda alguna lo volvería a comprar, ya por fin no hay arena en todas partes.

Anna: I like that it’s compact 3-in-1 and functional. Made of plastic so keep in mind it’s breakable and probably won’t last forever but if well kept can last long. I chose not to snap it on the litter box as some reviews said it broke right away

Lori: Purchased this litter scoop because of the handle that extends. Feels very secure when the handle isn’t extended, however, when you do have the handle at full length, it does feel a little flimsy. However, even with it feeling loose and somewhat wobbly, the handle is very secure. It is very easy to extend and put back down, even for someone with very weak hands. The scoop itself is nice and large with a guard on top to help with the scooping process. I personally love the teeth at the edge of the scoop to help loosen up any debris that is stuck to the bottom of the cat litter box. It is easy to clean. The slats are wide enough to clean the scoop, but not too wide that smaller pieces fall through. This is the best cat litter scoop I have ever owned and 9ve owned quite a few in my lifetime. It is worth the extra money to have the security of a stronger piece of plastic scooping up litter while you’re bent over the box.
