Looks like greed has reared its ugly head again. The previous bags purchased as you can see from the photos . The thickness is considerably less with the new bags. This presents a problem of my cats scratching open the bag more easily. I guess I won’t be buying anymore. Pointless to have them if they don’t protect the litter pan from getting dirty.

These are the thinnest litter box liners I have ever tried. My cat shreds these so badly that the bag separates from the elastic and ends up under the litter within the first 24 hours, and the bottom gets so shredded that the soiled litter ends up under the liner. When it's time to change the litter, I have to dump the litter box directly into a trash bag. I have resorted to putting masking tape over the liner to keep it together. I used them for 4 litter changes, then gave up.
Update: I've been layering two or three of these under my heavy duty pan liners just to use up my supply, and discovered that they do help contain the small amounts of litter that get through when my kitty manages to claw through the thicker top bag, which makes for easier clean up. I will not be reordering them, but I did find a use for them.

I have a big male Maine Coon cat. We need to use a very large pan for his needs. This liner fits the big box and is easy to bag up when it it time to change the litter. The only negative is because of my use of large litter spatula the bag sometime rips so I like to use two at a time. I only need to replace the under liner every other littler change. I don't consider this waste, it keeps everything neat.
