Dapperdobbs: Changing my review for clarity. Fragraim apparently read my original review and offered me a full refund, which I'm not taking, because I am keeping and using the ankle weights. They obviously put a lot of value on their customers' product satisfaction. The material is comfortable, doesn't chafe skin, and the weight bags are very easy to manage, and remain in place very well. They do not bang the ankle at all, as they are metal sand, so they are soft to the touch. Just because I, who am not a workout fanatic at the gym every other day, and certainly not any authority on ankle weights, think the straps are a bit long, does not mean that the straps are a bit long for everyone else. They are very secure straps. I did not see any ankle weights that looked better, and these are an improvement over the lace-up fixed-weight one's I had, and these are very usable. Trying to write an honest review, strapping these on takes a bit of getting-used-to dexterity, but they're a lot easier than fitting straps on at the pull-machine at the gym and adjusting the height and weight and body position to swing your legs back and forth, and a lot more intuitive than trying to figure out how to use those...
