Jodi M.: I am 5'2" and weigh around 110. For me, the size around the weights is too large for my wrists. I can wear them on my ankles, but they are too big and slip around on my wrists. Just wanted others to know if they are petite people!

To my surprise a despite what was said in past reviews, the manufacturer responded to my inquiry regarding the defect in the product within hours of emailing them. After sending a few pictures demonstrating the defect and confirming that the product was in fact theirs, I was sent a replacement by priority mail.

So far, the new weights are holding up well and even seem more comfortable than the original pair. Time will tell how durable they will be, but my faith in the manufacturer has been restored. My suggestion is to contact the manufacturer again if you have done so previously and have not received a response.

In reality, this is probably a 4* prodcut as it is a bit bulky and can take some fiddling to make comfortable, but given that the manufacturer stood behind their product,

Daniela: Sin duda por un poco más podrías obtener un par de polainas de mejor calidad, sin embargo creo que la relación calidad-precio es la adecuada y cumplen su función a la perfección. El calce es bueno, pero preferiría mas espacio de velcro para ajustar. Aunque no se han soltado nunca durante los ejercicios, no se sienten tan seguras. El interior es suave pero no es el más cómodo o transpirable. Cada polaina es de 4 lb, de las cuales dos se pueden retirar y las otras dos están integradas, son un poco difíciles de meter y sacar, lo que resulta tedioso, pero me parece muy conveniente poder a adaptar el peso a tu gusto y necesidad. Las uso bastante y seguiré usando. No las volvería a comprar, creo que invertiría en otras, sin embargo, son una excelente opción si son las primeras que adquieres.

I used it as a 4-lb initial knee weights to straighten my knee; as it progress, I added another 4-lbs. I used it also to strengthen my muscles in my leg. (see photos)

3Schenck3Schenck: I originally heard about these bad boys from a celebrity feature in (I believe what was) a Women's Health magazine. I was enticed by the idea of wearing them while walking, as daily walks outside and cool down walks on the treadmill are apart of my exercise regimen. I'm thoroughly impressed with the difference they've made in toning my arms. The package also comes with other exercise ideas for both arms and legs. I use them mainly while walking but some mornings will do the leg exercises as well. Definitely worth the money. There's not an overwhelming amount of weight to them, which I like. They are a bit bulky on me but I have the arms and wrists of a child so don't let that stop you.

AnnickAnnick: I just got these 10 mins ago and unwrapped them immediately. They look good and i am looking forward to trying them. They are a bit big for my wrists but I'll manage.

I took off 1 star because one of the two is ripped on the inside where the rounded corners of the weight pushes outwards and it leads me to worry about the strength of the material. I will be asking for a replacement for at least that one.

Michi: Great product but wish the velcro was longer because way too big for my wrists. I have to first wrap face cloth around my wrist then put the cuff over that. Others wise great product. Love that the weights are adjustable.
