Jenita Miller: I bought this to try pulling my cat. I tried crushing the pills and mixing it with baby food. It worked well but I ended up using a different method I ordered. You can clip the plastic to adjust for the type of meal your giving.

Arnold: I think this is a great oral syringe, but only for doses over 1ml.
My cat only gets a .25ml dose. But this syringe dosage increments start at 1ml. So I cannot accurately measure.
So keep that in mind if you plan on buying this.

k buy: Needed these to administer food and medicine to my sick cat.

Two stars are given because the nipple tip worked ok. However the tapered tip dispenser was horrible and if it was the only thing in the package I would have given a one star review. The tapered one was very difficult to use. It was hard to push through all the way even without anything in it. The food would not come out. Like other reviewers said this does not work with a cat !!!

Thought I was doing something wrong until I went back and saw the lower rated reviews and the video. The reviewers are correct. I was wondering why some people rated it so hightly.

I ended up cutting the narrow tip, thinking maybe I just needed the wider part (The 2nd part of the tube that is a little wider than the tip). Alas, I did not have anything to properly cut into the wider part so I ended up with a stump of the narrower tip. :-( However in doing this I did discover something. Where the narrow tip and the middle part of the dispenser join, there was a small piece of plastic partially blocking the hole. One would be unable to see this if it had not have been cut. Lori FergusonLori Ferguson: I had to upgrade to a syringe with a greater volume than my first set. I'm disappointed that the marking for the level came off so easily. They should either make the markings raised or engraved because the surface paint wears off quickly.

Lizbeth: El émbolo de la jeringa no corria con fluides y cuando le daba liquidos a mi perro se asustaba porque de repente salia con mucha fuerza. Posteriormente lave la jeringa para devolverla y funcionó mejor, ya no presentaba el problema inicial.

A una de las jeringas puedes cortarle la salida con el grosor que más te convenga.

Stay Gold: I tried the feeder with the longer tip but it didn't see to pull in any of the medication. So I tried the shorter one and it seems to work much better. No problems feeding it to my dog.

Catica: I bought this to dispense meds to my Pomeranian. It holds up to 1/2 oz (14 mls) of liquid, and has a nice long dispenser which can go nicely into my dog's mouth. The 3 ml size syringes are too big to put in his mouth easily, and the 1 ml syringes, while being a good size, need to be reloaded if you have more than 1 ml to dispense so weren't great for me. The problem with this dispenser is that it doesn't have any rubber parts to improve the suction. Everything is hard plastic, so it takes in air as well as the liquid, making measuring very difficult. I am dispensing a thick liquid, and it was impossible to use for that. I tried it with water, and it works better with that but still takes in air. I am disappointed that I have to go back to using the 1 ml syringes, since my Pom needs 3 mls of his supplement. Not thrilled with the product.

Uso la jeringa de punta ancha para alimentar a una gato enfermo. El tamaño de la jeringa permite manipularla sin problemas aún con una sola mano (la otra se encuentra ocupada, sujetando al gato). El grosor y la longitud de la punta son adecuados para el hocico de un gato: se puede depositar el alimento en la parte posterior del paladar sin necesidad de que el gato abra demasiado el hocico. A mí me gusta dejar el alimento ahí porque el gato lo deglute y no lo escupe con la lengua (esto lo he aprendido con la práctica). Según la consistencia del alimento, a la jeringa le pueden llegar a caber hasta 18 gramos, más o menos. Para hacer la limpieza más sencilla, lavo la jeringa enseguida de haberla ocupado para evitar que el alimento se pegue en la punta (pegado resulta difícil limpiarla).
