Fosmon 3-Pack Wireless Remote Control Electrical Outlet Switches

EMW: Our living room has multiple standing lamps as the light source - this made it possible to easily switch them on or off from the entrance.
Installation took less than 5 minutes.
Programming was flexible, allowing me to make one switch turn all 3 lamps on or off and the other two to control individual lights if we want a more moody lighting.
Very happy with this purchase - saved a whole lot of wiring and opening walls to install switches.
I like the fact that the remote is designed like a normal switch.

The Braille lettering does not seem very useful, as to read it one already needs to locate the switch and the up-down orientation is tactile and corresponds to the standard on-off.

I wish the seller would offer sets of two separate switches with one plug as well as that would be useful for 3-way switch situations.

M. Dunlap: I bought these and really liked them. Then like many other folks I moved my outlets around and the buttons on my remote would each turn on/off multiple adapters.

Turns out there is an unpairing mode you have to do (just unplugging the adapter does not unpair). When you plug in the adapter and it is blinking, you have to push the off button on the remote for each button you want to unpair. If that button was paired, it'll blink fast and unpair it.

I was about to write a 1-star review because I couldn't figure this out (and had lost the manual) but customer service gave me a manual copy and this solved my issue.

Greatwalk: I was having these issues, the manual has a unpairing section. Glad I kept the manual for once.
-Unplug, plug in, use off instead of on, blinks fast for a bit, back to slow pairing blink, unplug again.
I did this to all three switches, on all three plugs. Then started over pairing as normal. (Plug in, press ON on the switch you want)

Everything works now, any time you unplug and plug in, if you press an on button while it's blinking it will pair with that on button. I also unplugged one, plugged it back in but never paired it, waited 30sec or so light went off, tried the previously paired button and it worked.

So if it doesn't magically break, these things are awesome. They stack in a single outlet unlike my old ones which is exactly why I bought this kit.

Bernie Carpenter: I was a little skeptical at first, then read the reviews here, so I bought it. I got tired of having to plug my living room light in when I need it (my living room doesn't have a light), and climbing all the garbage in my spare room to turn on my stand up lamp (my spare room doesn't have a light with a switch too, you see, I live in a trailer house)... Well, I bought this thing, with the switches, and climbed all the crap in my spare room and attached it. Never had to climb all that garbage to get to my lamp in the spare room, never have to plug in my living room light again... the agony to have to get up and turn a light on when you don't feel like it lol. When I installed this wireless switch, and just set the switch on my desk, never again I have to get up from my desk to plug the stupid light in, or have to climb garbage in my spare room to turn on the light... heck, flip a switch, light on. Richard Lucas: I have bought a number of LED light systems in the last few years, such T5 LED tubes, long LED strips, and short modular LED strips, and they are always fun to work with and sometimes outperform more traditional forms of lighting. The missing piece has always been the switch. What you want is a wall switch that will control your lights. Some of the strip systems come with remotes, but these are easy to lose and they are mobile, so you might not find it right away each time you reach for the switch.

That where these switches come in handy. It's just the interface I wanted: a large rocker switch that immediately turned on or off the lights. To install them you just plug in the remote switch boxes and start using them. You don't need to have an electrician run new wiring and a handyman to touch up your drywall afterwards. Setting up the switches was quite easy. You "program" the wall socket box by pressing the switch after plugging in the box. Sedatious: I used a 3-pack to make my garage door opener, a treadmill and some old arcade machines switchable from the entry to my garage. These switches and remote outlets are a seriously convenient item to have for controlling all kinds of electrical devices. They are super easy to setup/pair and once done, the flip of the switch up powers the connected device on and a flip down shuts the device off. I will be ordering more in the future for some other projects I have in mind. Again, they are super easy to setup and pair with the remote switches and as easy as a switch to use. I was concerned about no CSA or UL listing, but they are ETL listed so they are safe for use in Canada. Worth every penny!
