MandaManda: 4 stars because of the price for 6 large 80” x 72” moving blankets. Being 100% polyester they have a rougher side and slick side, not like my old thick cotton ones. Will be mainly using to help secure mountain bikes when transporting in my truck bed- always use multiple layers when strapping.
I bought these knowing they are thinner but I wanted larger and orange moving blankets. Much different than basic blue. Will be great for sliding objects in a truck bed and not catch like cotton does. Packaging for me was great. All six fit well (took one out of box in photo).

Pros: large size and can be folded. Stitching will hold for medium use. Rougher side will “stick” to furniture and stay in place. Slick side can help slide in and out on truck bed or suv carpet. Got 6 blankets for a good price. Recycled material inside!

Cons: rougher feel and thinner. Not for heavy use or securing delicate items without using multiple layers. Stitching is loose in some areas but this is common for moving blankets, not a big deal. Slick on well polished/plastic/well coated surfaces. So be mindful when strapping down. Will catch fire. People say they smell (I can’t smell...

LS: Good quality considering the price, but like other comments said the smell is a bit strong at first. We use it for sound proofing and so far so good.

Great blanket, folds up nice and pretty thick to prevent scratching up stuff.

VanessaVanessa: It’s a pretty big blanket, but it’s not very thick.
I’m simply using it to keep in my car’s trunk, to protect the sides of the car from getting scratched.
I would recommend inspecting the blanket when you receive it, to ensure it’s quality. When I received mine, there were tons of stitches that had come apart. In the pictures, you can even see that it looked like many rows of stitches hadn’t even been completed all the way to the end. Fortunately, I was able to exchange it for a new one, which was perfect. Otherwise, it’s a good purchase for the price.

JD: Wish it was a little heavier. Seems thin to me. Can't tell durability, but I have one that has lasted several years that is heavier than this.. I use these as general padding. kneel on them. Let the dog sleep on them. When clean I use them as a yoga mat in the yard. Nylon slips off what it is on easily.

The 1st layer of material on the black side is coming off. Light use. No washing. The Orange side seems more durable so far

Lewis Brown: I ordered these blankets recently and they came right on time. They were delivered by UPS in a big large brown corrugated box not in a bag as the previous review claimed. They were neatly packed in their own zipper plastic bag which is great for storing them. The blankets I received did not have any special or weird mildew smell, they were good to put to use right away. I've bough other moving blankets in the past and they all seem to be a little too small for what I needed them for, I have rented bigger ones but the rental price tends to be really expensive for a blanket, so I am glad I found these blankets because they're just the right size at the right price and are of great quality.

Ray: These are very high quality wrapping blankets used for moving. They are thick, double-stitched in two directions, and fully edged to help prevent fraying from the sides. A very nice touch is that each blanket comes in its own zippered plastic bag which can be used to replace the blanket after the move for storage. For the price, they are very well constructed, sturdy, and its hard to fault them.

One minor issue is that some of the blankets I received in this set seem to have black speckles that initially look like mold or mildew on them (and I see that a number of reviewers here have commented on this, as well), but I'm not sure that's what this is. It appears that it may be some result of the manufacturing process. It's strange that only about every other blanket had these (half of them appeared pristine), and I have no explanation for this. However, all the blankets seemed to perform very well, and I'm pleased with the purchase. I give the blankets four stars only because I cannot explain the black speckles on some of the blankets, but these are great moving tools.
