Taylor: Bought this as a replacement for one we had a long time. My daughter used it less than an hour and it broke. The caps both came off and had to re-attach multiple times. Then one flew off for good. Not super impressed for the price.

Nicole: After getting a dollar store version for her birthday, I remembered the skip it’s of my youth and realized the straight rod between the hoop and the weight at the end is key, so I purchased this and my girls were not disappointed! (And neither was I, 35 years later I can still do it! Lol) I miss the counter the 90’s version had, but this one lights up so still A+! Ordered a second for my other daughter so they can each have their own.

Amazon Customer: The front and rear cover broke off after the first use. The covers are decorative and not functional so, we just left them off. The ring will not allow kids with bigger feet to just slip in. They will have to open the ring or take off their shoe to slip in on. It's good exercise for the kids. They enjoy using them. The lights look great in darker settings. They have taken a bit of beating and so far have held up well.

Danielle Yott: I really wanted my kids to experience the simple pleasure of this toy as I had when I was growing up. Great physical exercise and really builds up coordination and spatial awareness.

PROS: The design of this particular device means that once you get the toy going, the Rollerblade style wheel on it really seems to carry the toy forward and the momentum and speed can really build up. The straight rod means that with that great a momentum, a kid can get a really great rhythm going and even when they slow down a bit, there is no string loosing it's tension to trip them up. My kid liked that compared to his string based older one.
The toy also folds down compactly in a similar manner to folding tent poles. We really liked that and just tossed this into a backpack for friends house visits.

CON: This is a BIG con... Only my youngest can easily get his foot in. The rigid foot ring is too small for my 12 year old to get his ankle into.. . That sucks because he really wanted to be able to use it and the design flaw seems just such a silly error. I would say the biggest market for this toy would be kids like 8 to 12 but with older kids not being able to fit their foot in......

MJ: The color is nice and the ball lights up when it's spinning. The ring is comfy and not scratchy around the ankle. Only slightly negative point: it should come with instructions on how to secure the elastic cord so it stays tight while playing. We figured it out in the end but it would have been nice to have instructions in the packet.

Hanington: I bought 2 for granddaughters for Easter and they LOVE them. Nice padding for ankle and they light up. Awesome exercise, you can do indoors or outside and fun to have a little competition to see who does it the longest. Hours of playtime for your kids, gets them up off the couch :)

Darshmoo: It has been surving my house of 4 boys thus far. I was very nervous about it becoming another toy broken on week 1. It isnt like.the original like i had wanted while searching for a skip it but it works! The fact that it lights up when you use it is super cool. Im 26 and enjoyed doing a skip it tournament with the kids and am the undefeatable household champ currently. It came in a nice neat small box, easy to "put together".

Ashley: Not the greatest. It does what you need it to do but my daughter trips over it a lot because it’s not sturdy and it bends. Also the price at the end of it popped off about three slips in. Pops back in but comes off everytime. She does enjoy it the foam for around the ankle ripped easily wasn’t worth the money probably will try another brand when this one is done with.
