A. Reviewer: As someone who works out at the gym with strength training 5 days a week, it took a fair amount of strength to click these pieces together. I don't know how this qualifies as adjustable, because if you took out a section, it would be considerable strain on all the other joints. But using it at full size it is a fun toy. We used it for a variety of relays in a PE class. I like the fact that the blue green and yellow are boy friendly colors. Happy with our purchase.

This one is very light and didn’t hold his attention like grandma’s did!! Anyway, I had to ask my husband to help put the segments together. Probably wouldn’t purchase again.

Dani MU: Doesn’t fit together properly. I bought this one because it was for my 2.5 year old and I wanted a hula hoop that was a little smaller so she could hold it more easily and she really wanted one. THis one had the ability to make the hoop larger or smaller, but no matter how you tried to put it together it was impossible. Pieces do not fit together and if I would have tried to force it, it would have broke anyway.
