CurlyKayak: What a brilliant product! So easy to use and it works perfectly! Snip off the length of patch you need, stick it to the screen, hit it with a hair dryer, and boom! You're done.

Sully's Momma: Worked like a charm. I would recommend for large tears/holes put it on inside and outside of screen to give it some strength. Easy to use. Comes with a lot. Just make sure you have a hair dryer. Heat gun would melt the mesh.

Phil: It's not expensive and it repairs screen just fine. Color might not match perfectly well but for me it doesn't matter. Replacing the whole screen is not cheap. I'm amazed it is still there after a year and a whole winter at minus 20 celsius, it holds pretty good but I did put a patch on both sides.

Widely Read: I've repaired about 10 holes in screen over a month ago and so far they haven't fallen off. It definitely works better if you can remove the screen so you can have pressure on both sides, but one time I did a patch where I couldn't and it worked, but was a bit trickier because to hold the patch on the screen you have to touch it and then of course the adhesive sticks to your finger and wants to pull off when you remove your finger. It's easy enough to get the hang of though.
My best technique is to hold a corner with your finger and then use the hair dryer nozzle to press the patch onto the screen. Since the dryer is right there the adhesive is melted well and when you remove the dryer the patch stays on the screen.
The only negative is the patches are far from invisible. First you've got the difference in color between the screen and the patch (even if you buy the same color old screen will have faded over time), and you've got different weave spacings of the screen and patch, and even if you happen to luck out and the weaves are the same, you've still got the issue of trying to align them perfectly which is difficult. Buy hey, this is a cheap patch. If you want...

Linda Pfeiffer: This screen repair works great. You have a choice of two colours, so make sure you pick the right one if you want it to blend in. You simply cut a piece off to fit the hole in your screen and then using a hand held hairdryer you hold the patch over the hole and then heat it until it sticks to the rest of the screen. No more wasps getting in my house after I got that on.

G. Beggs: You have to be very careful when peeling off the backing to this because the adhesive seems to prefer to stick to the backing rather than to the patch.
Once you get a patch with the adhesive still on it, the hair dryer does melt it enough to make it stick to the surface you are attaching it to. It isn't super-strong, but is sufficient for holding onto a screen.
The adhesive is similar to the 'glue' that comes out of a hot glue gun.

Tom: Arrived within the estimated time and I am always happy when that happens. It does the job needed but you can still see the repair. It isn't invisible to the eye. I bought this to try out and prevent Mosquitoes from entering the house and so far it is working ok. Even if I have to repair the screen next year I have enough product left to complete the job many times over.
