My Dewalt 18V batteries finally gave up the ghost, and I looked for a replacement with the standard Dewalt batteries, but the cost was prohibitive.
I found this replacement, and for the price of one brand-name battery, I got two of them. They fit perfectly on my Dewalt charger, and they work like a charm.
I use the batteries sparingly, so the charge lasts for weeks. If you put it through its paces with a daily job that requires constant use, you will probably need to charge them frequently.
For the price and what I use them for, they meet my needs, and the value was there. I liked them so much that I got them for my dad, who had the same issue.

These batteries do not hold a charge well when in storage. They are not strong even when freshly charged. They do not compare to a "Dewalt" battery that has been rebuilt with new sub C NCcd batteries purchased at Amazon.
The vendor has followed up this sale with suggestions for better battery life and power. Completely discharge the batteries and then charge them. This did help the issue of power and storage. The Customer service is very good and they went well beyond what so many vendors will do to correct problems. I will give them the chance to supply me in the future, should that occur.

My husband has the 18v DeWalt cordless drill and impact driver set. They were only about 2 years old, when both batteries would no longer hold a charge. He tried draining the battery life completely and then charging to full. Event after a week in the charger, as soon as you put the battery in the drill or impact driver, it would die. It was very frustrating. Not wanting to spend the money on the exact replacement batteries, I took a chance and ordered these for him. Upon arrival, they already had about half charge, so he tried them right away. So much better than the original batteries! We have used them every weekend for remodel projects around the house, and these have been fantastic! They fit perfectly in the drill and the impact driver, as well as the DeWalt charger. Worth the money and would definitely buy again!
