In terms of installation I I've never really done anything beyond minor ikea builds (think a kallax). My husband died and I inherited the tools so I decided to at least try. The instructions for most of it are great, the important part about wiring wasn't great. I watched a couple of YT videos though and was able to figure it out. Basically, connect the green wires and the ground wire in your ceiling together. The three wires from the fan, connect to the three wires on the little black remote box.
