TS: These are indeed the foil wrapped pods (thank goodness). I've been using these for over 10 years since I bought my Kitchenaid dishwasher. They were recommended by the manufacturer at the time. They always get my dishes perfectly clean (I do pre-rinse them for good measure).

They leave no film in the dishwasher. My dishwasher still looks brand new inside. No residue.

When these foil wrapped pods were discontinued at all of the local stores, I tried the other "dissolving" pods, and within a few washes, I noticed a buildup in the dishwasher. Gross. After doing my own research, I determined that the outer casing (that's supposed to dissolve) essentially gets diluted into the water and redeposited on everything. Sometimes it doesn't all dissolve and leaves a film. You are eating it off your dishes!

It's not good for the internal pumps and valves, and will lead to premature wear and plumbing problems of your appliance. This was confirmed by several repairmen and handymen (as well as my own common sense). One guy told me 1 out 4 calls is a pump failure (dishwashers and clothes washers) with either goo or partially dissolved pod shells jammed inside from the modern...

Haley: These are great dishwasher tabs, easier to use than liquid detergent and do a solid job. There's a reason these are so highly rated. Clean streak free & residue free dishes every time! I've been using these for years and will continue to use them.

They are surprisingly powerful and can handle really dirty dishes. If you have something that is sticky or very greasy though I would recommend wiping that down before putting it in the dishwasher with a tab. While these are strong and the best detergent pods I have used, they are not perfect at getting absolutely everything. Highly recommend these, they have a nice light fresh smell also! Good quality product for a decent price, 94 tabs should last a while.

Tina G.: I have been using Finish tabs for years and really love how they work. I tried the "cellophone" wrapped tabs but not all of them disolved in my dishwasher. The tabs that I now buy are wrapped in thin foil which I tear to open. All great so far...however...too many times I find the tab broken and crumbled and unusable.
This is a problem and I have written to the company about this. I hope they find a solution.
Again...the actual product does the cleaning job excellently.

Adr3n: Bought this to use as a general glassware cleaner. Would say that it works pretty well. Dissolved into a large sink of water and left glassware to soak for a few minutes before washing. Feels like it cleans grease quite effectively without need to use additional detergent.

ET: I use these to help scrub off char on my pans as long as the pan itself is not too oily. For fatty, oily or dishes with egg yolk, I go with Finish Quantum.

These are cheap so I sometimes throw one of these into the washer for short wash cycle instead of the detergent compartment for half-load washes.

leong chorng yee: Have bought this before for about 15$US per box of 94 tablets, which is great value. Packaging may be torn etc, but the product still works. 4 stars for product performance

However, I noticed that the SGD price is now 400% higher than before. What I can't understand is that the same product is priced at 15$USD on Amazon.com, but 400% higher at Amazon.sg! The price difference across markets is almost akin to scalping! Overall 1 star now for crazy pricing inconsistency
