Monica DS: I put my dishwasher to work like a seasoned pro when it comes to tackling all the kitchen’s unsanitary messes. I learned the hard way that going for a ‘lesser’ brand was a costly mistake. Cascade is undoubtedly a great product, but the Platinum label takes it to a whole new level of phenomenal.

Now, my dishes not only come out sparkling clean but they also shine brilliantly. They’re perfectly dried, and the delightful scent that lingers in my kitchen is just the cherry on top. When a product does exactly what it promises and does it so well, it deserves nothing less than a solid 5-star rating. There are no pics because I trust my young teen boy with putting up the dishes after Cascade Platinum has done the hard stuff. Cascade Platinum you’ve earned a permanent spot in my kitchen!

Miss CDC: These pods are amazing!! Since I stared using these, I will not use any other dishwasher detergents. The others just don't work as well. I do not do any heavy scraping and they get all the dried food and sauces off. I have glass dishes that are my everyday dishes and they never have spots or streaks and neither do any of my glasses. These and the lemon scented are both a WIN!!! Any of the platinum or platinum plus versions are great. If you are hesitant to try them, don't be.

SFWrestlerSFWrestler: Although I did some pre-rinsing of the dishes, I purposely left residue which did not rinse off to test the effectiveness & it cleared the residue. 2nd pick is strainer used to strain tuna fish in oil & I don't think it could be any cleaner. I did also use a rinsing agent so I don't know how much that contributed to the clean dishes other than to go dry the dishes without spots.

sandra shapiro: I have used this brand for years. Always reliable. Pods work well. Package has a flip back flap that closes tightly enough so no water gets in but allows for easy dispensing of the pod. Cascade is well rated and earns the rating IMO. You avoid the mess in your machine if even a little water gets into the dispenser when you use powdered soap.

Bob: Our dishwasher seemed to be on its last legs - poor results with powder and everything else we tried. The first time we used this product, glasses, dishes, and utensils came out exceptionally clean, and dishwasher was spotless as well. We could not believe it as first, but it has consistently provided exceptional results.

Sometimes it seems you just have to spend the money to get the right results!! SAVED US A TON OF MONEY over our contemplated replacement of dishwasher.

A scentless version would be preferred, as one of us is very sensitive to fragrances. We store the pods in an airtight canister to mitigate the scent. The scent does not adhere to the items washed or the dishwasher, so it is a very minor issue.
