Mick: Thes filters are accurately sized and the framework around the filter is robust. We've tried several different filter types and the framework is flimsy and they are slightly oversize to the stated dimensions so they don't fit well into our cold air return framework.

beaniebeanie: I live in an apartment where the maintenance guys change out the filters once a year with a MERV 1, and that filter didn't catch much of anything. I inserted this filter a month ago, and you can already see how much dust, debris, pollutants, etc., it has caught by comparing its color to the unused filter.
I was concerned the increased filtration would work my AC unit to death, but that has not been a problem; my energy bill remained consistent from the month prior.
We currently have two adults and one bunny living in this 1,000 sq foot apartment, we vacuum daily and keep the house clean, yet it is amazing how much debris still floats around our house. This filter has definitely given me peace of mind knowing we are breathing in less dust and dirt.
Lastly, this filter fit like a glove and was easy to install. I highly recommend investing in this brand of filters. It's a 2-in-1 purchase and a true bargain.

JB: A custom air exchanger resulted in a furnace that uses a filter size that you can’t find at HD, etc. Ordered these. Fair price. Made in USA. Look filthy on the intake side when I change them - meaning they are doing their job.
