Roger W. Leighton: I brought this with me to my last doctors visit. They performed a "side by side" test to check the accuracy of my new meter. This meter consistently showed around 15 points higher on both diastolic and systolic pressures than the doctors "manual" test with the arm band. The technician advised that arm bands are almost always more accurate than wrist bands. That said, this meter gives consistent results and is easy to use. It allows me to check trends in my blood pressure in real time. Two AA alkaline batteries have lasted a couple weeks. I would recommend especially for the price.
