Fender Player Series Stratocaster Electric Guitar - Perfect for Rock & Blues Playing

Christopher Carbone: Everybody knows that the fender Stratocaster is a great guitar. I so I will leave it up to other reviewers to praise the instrument. I managed to be in the right place at the right time and pick one of these up for $625. That’s a great price so I don’t have much room to complain, that said- typically the fender Stratocaster is shipped with a soft gig bag. Mine was not. Annoying. They also typically come with a whammy bar. Mine did not. Again, annoying.

Otherwise, the guitar was packaged well, the delivery went smoothly, and everything looks to be in great condition. I can certainly recommend this purchase, just keep in mind that if you do, you may need to also budget for a case and a whammy bar. Whammy bars are like $10 so, not a big deal. Cases on the other hand, those can get expensive.

Jax: Bought this as a “new” guitar, and while it came in the fender box, it had clearly been reboxed.
The tremolo arm arrived broken, which isn’t a big deal, but unfortunate. Part of the tip had been removed, and was not in the box. Much of the protective tape had already been removed from the guitar. It did not come with the tag for it.

All that aside, the guitar itself is in excellent, like new, condition and is genuine.

Darren M.Darren M.: Just received my new Fender Strat and if you are worried about shipping damage. Don't be. Mine came double boxed and in pefect condition. This guitar was built with pride. It has great action and sound. The stock strings are better than i expected. It's beautiful!

Graciela: Package arrived safely althought the Amazon driver decided NOT to place it on my porch and closer to the street where anyone could have passed by and swiped it.
After unboxing, and taking a closer I see that there is no damage to the paint or fretboard. No flaws in the paint or neck.
Upon further inspection, I noticed the
Tremelo block was drilled incorrectly for the tremelo bar and causes the tremolo bar to sit too far forward. I dont use the tremelo bar so its not an issue for me especially with the discount I received. Also another note is that the string alignment is very slightly off where the low E string is closer to the edge of fretboard causing it to come off the fretboard on aggressive bends. Loosening the Neck screws and slightly resetting the neck should fix this. After playing it the neck feels very comfortable and the sound is very good! For the price I paid I am satisfied with my purchase. The issues that exist can be corrected with minimal effort.

Morgan McNeelyMorgan McNeely: Exceptional value imo. Regarding the law of diminishing returns I don't see why I'd spend 5 or 6 bills more for the non MIM Fender. This is a quality for cost instrument. Fender has done a great job w their MIM line.

It came well packaged. Mine is Polar white. I didn't attach the tremelo bar for these pics. The case is my old fender case not to confuse anyone it didn't come with the guitar.

Every aspect of it is 100%. The finish is perfect and it's incredibly beautiful. Everything is set up to play. Neck is straight, frets seem fine. Bridge is floated and she seems to hold pitch but I only do mild dives at best.

Over-all I'm very happy, not one imperfection. And it sounds great so far. For now my old MIM is my player. This one I'll work in slowly. I'll know in time if I need to tweak anything but so far she seems great.

Kindle Customer: I don't normally leave reviews but felt that I had to leave something for this awesome guitar.
I have a reasonable collection of guitars ranging from Ibanez to Aria but lacked a decent Stratocaster. Having read the online reviews I thought I would take a punt at the Fender player strat.
I bought the silver version as I liked the classic vibe in single coil configuration. First of all the online images of the silver version dont do it justice. It seems to reflect and bounce light as you move it. In different lighting conditions it can change from a subtle platinum to a deep gun metal grey. It's finish is stunning.
More importantly though is how it sounds....the pickups are bright and crisp. I particularly love the neck position for some gorgeous Muddy Waters tones. The bridge pickup is like a bell and sounds brilliant with a bit of crunch.
The setup was pretty much perfect out of the box. Very, very playable. I will give it sometime to bed in before I make any personal tweaks but can't see any issues as it currently stands.
All in all an outstanding guitar as you would expect from Fender but at an amazing price. I've paid the same in the past for an ibanez and the...
