Goal-Post: This wall control was purchased to run a Fanimaton fan (Torch), model number FP8458MW. This wall control doesn't work. We have since gotten two replacements directly from the company. Those don't work either. An entire new room, including the electricity for this wall control, was done by a licensed electrician. The electrician also installed the two replacements. Finally, we resorted to just using the remote that came in the box with the fan. So far, so good. Unfortunately, I think that too much time has passed for me to get a refund through Amazon.
Update: I spoke with a CSR at a local lighting company – where I bought the fan. She said that this didn't work because conduit was used and it's too thick for the signal to broadcast.
