Amazon Customer: Really is a great thermometer. Can be used on the forehead or in the ear. Super easy to use either way, especially if you have little ones! I lost my first one, got a random one from the store I hated and ended up ordering a second one of these. Definitely recommend!

FrogsOnTheRun: Design is perfect and couldn't be easier to use. Styling is cool too. Nice to be living in the future.
I'm a little skeptical of it's reading accuracy, but I won't doc a star for that, I just don't know. But it seems to be reading low, however that could be because I'm over 40 now and my "normal" temp has gone down. Apparently that is ok.
Forehead readings can jump around a bit, the ear reading option seem more reliable so is great so simple to switch it. I was little confused how do ear reading at first, like trying shove it down my ear canal, but figured out for good more consistent readings only hold down straight in past first ridge against skin at back of bottom ear rather than deep into ear.
Also if you were wearing hat forehead reading can be abnormally higher.
If I ever get a second opinion from a different device I will update this if temps not in alignment. But for now I will just assume my normal body temp has gone down with age and lifestyle. Assuming it right, is great device and style. Easy to use.

xplorer: This thermometer works almost instantly. However the beep that it makes is so low volume that I can't hear it. My wife's hearing is better than mine, and she says she can hear it. One other annoyance is that the instructions are printed in such tiny print that they are hard to read. Incidentally, they say to contact Support if there are any problems, but nowhere does it say how or where to contact Support. As far as I can tell, the accuracy is all right.
