AKR: As I am Japanese, I am super picky with rice. I tried pretty much all kinds of California rice, and yes some are good, but never good as rice you can get in Japan.
This is very expensive rice but I wanted to give it a try. Goodness, it was super tasty. Finally, we found something very tasty. When you have good rice, you can eat without anything on the side. Kids love it so much that their breakfast is riceball, and lunch is rice and miso soup. It's so expensive that we don't want to eat all, but can't resist!

SergioSergio: It met beyond my expectations. I was sceptical at first, but after I tried the rice it was very delicious. This is not your typical Walmart or local store brand short-grain rice. This is a very high grade short-grain rice imported from Japan. That's the reason why it is so expansive, though it is well worth the cost. Another thing that I've noticed is that the cooked rice has a long quality shelf life. Unlike other cooked rice that tend to get really hard like a rock when kept in the fridge, this one keeps it's quality for a long while after a couple of days. I once had leftover rice that I reheated in the microwave and it tasted like if it was cooked in a rice cooker again. Overall great product. My only complaint is the price, but as the saying goes "you get what you pay". I'll be sure to buy more in the future.
