Bia: This book is incredible! For me, a royal family (nowadays more H&M + Diana) fan, this book absolutely served! I’ve loved following Elizabeth Holmes and her content for a while now, and can tell you she made a wonderful piece of work! I literally devoured in one day!
It is much more than just fashion, it is a master class on how to speak when you can’t really talk!

LM Marsh: This book by @eholmes is a true product of @instagram She started commenting on the outfits of the royals using the catchy phrase, #somanythoughts and it grew from there.
I was a little worried that HRH would be a rehash, but it's not. It has a decent amount of reporting, new analysis and PICTURES. The pictures are just great.
It's a quick read. Not unlike the #AngelaKelly book on #QE2 it's best to be savored with big cuppa in a comfy chair.
Knowing how message dressing is now the norm, not the exception, this primer in how it's done will be helpful, I suspect, in deciphering messages of all women in the public eye.
Welcome to the age of dressing with intention.

GMK IS OK: My wife is a big fan of the royals, so when this book came out in November I snapped it up and then gave it to her as a Christmas gift. She's finished the book and really enjoyed the fashion commentaries as well as the multiple pages of pictures showing the royal styles. Overall, this book is presented in a very professional manner and isn't gimmicky or sensationalized.

Mary: I've been a fan of Elizabeth Holmes's Instagram account from the start and have followed her for years. What started out there as witty observations about the current British Royal Family has devolved into a space for liberal wokeness, penance, and lecturing (and I consider myself one!), and most all the fun is gone. Elizabeth is funny and sometimes snide and very observant and knows her stuff about fashion and its meaning. That is pretty much gone now and it's a struggle to even follow her on social media anymore. I was hoping this book could bring back some of that fun. Unfortunately it does not. Nowhere are there pictures of the royals with her clever witticisms attached. The most unfortunate part is that the book just regurgitates information from other sources, such as Angela Kelly's second book about dressing the Queen. Yes, Elizabeth adds her own observations but she sticks to what she has said many times before on social media, just with more words as filler in order to create something book length. There seem to be few first-hand sources, which would have helped immensely. Then there's parts of the book that get repeated too frequently, like that Diana was helped by the...

Morrigan: I am an avid royal watcher, so I knew I had to read this book. What I did not expect was how enjoyable it would be to read. Somehow the author manages to provide a fresh, non-judgmental take on modern royal history. Instead of dwelling on low-hanging, scandalous fruit, the book really pulls the common threads from the work of four different royal women to reveal how each uses sartorial skills in her own way. I have been reading royal books all year, and there were even a few tidbits I didn't know (like how William's red uniform was chosen for his 2011 wedding). I recommend this to anyone who enjoys the fashion of royal ladies, and anyone looking to for a new perspective on the soft power wielded by Britain's #1 cultural export.
