Gabriel DaltonGabriel Dalton: While this was sold, and mostly presents as new, the front cover has been opened either far enough or often enough, that the paste down end paper has become disconnected from the spine at the hinge, and there is no resistance while opening it fully. This was so pronounced that when I opened it for the first time I was quite concerned that it wasn't actually new. However, subsequent inspection reviled no further reason to suspect it's status. While I am convinced there is no ill intention here, I would still prefer to not pay new prices for this book. Maybe used, in excellent condition?

Sheena H Warren: A fun detailed guide to Ooo written by Hunson Abadeer who tends to ramble on a bit at times but overall a more in depth and appealing to the adult reader than I expected.

GrapealiciousGrape: The headline may seem dramatic but we ordered a used copy of this book and it was in such good quality - no tears or scratches or anything (-that you may expect / get with other sellers / books ) . We have not read this book , but have flipped through it - it is in good quality (-lots of imagery and the colour in the book is not faded or anything ) . Would recommend if you are a fan of adventure time or if you just getting into ad adventure time .

Atticman: I am a new(ish) Adventure Time convert - I just love everything about the show, pretty much!
So after devouring the first 5 seasons I bought this wanting to know more and more about this weird world. Unfortunately I didn't take the time to look at this properly - I was hoping for an extension of the show, from its creators that might give us some more backstory, insight in to why there is a chunk of the Earth missing etc, as well as the funny sort of scrapbook material you'd expect. Sadly this is mostly just the scrap book stuff. There is some genuinely good writing and nice parts to this book (I love the map!). Having Hunsen Abadeer (Marceline's dad) narrate the book starts as a neat idea, but soon becomes boring as he bangs on and on about how loathsome this is and how he'll soon be sucking the soul of that.... It switches up in a few places, but a better approach would have been to have each major character do a section each (imagine Lemongrab's!!!! UNACCCEPTAAABBLLLLLEEEE!!)
Overall, I give the author mad respects y'all for the sheer level of detail and genuine affection for the show he has used to write this, and it is def worth your time giving it a read (its...

J. Reno: I had preordered this book quite a while ago, and to my unequivocal happiness, the Adventure Time Encyclopaedia turned out to be utterly awesome! If you are new to the Adventure Time universe, or if you are a day-one fan, or if you just want some information on a show that enlightens your conversations with your kids, this is the book to do it.
You will notice two things the instant you get this book in your hands. 1) The format is a bit smaller than most other "encyclopedias", and 2) The quality is immediately evident the minute you open the cover.
Some readers have complained about the size of this book, but I have to say, the 'digest' size of The Adventure Time Encyclopaedia is absolutely perfect for a number of reasons. It is easier to carry along with you wherever you go, it fits into most bags, backpacks, briefcases, etc.. rather easily, and it doesn't take up wasted space on your bookshelf. I have noticed a large number of publishers migrating to this particular size and I am glad that they are.
The quality of this book is amazing in that it keeps with the unique art style and character designs of the show, but casts a whole new light on the land of...

Yesenia: This is a great little book written from Abadeer's perspective on the Land of Ooo and its many inhabitants, with margin comments by Marceline, Finn, and Jake. It should be noted however, that there is no "new" information in this book. Perhaps to some who haven't seen all the episodes (or are just starting to get into the show), some sections may certainly help clear things up, but for the most part this is a book made to accompany the existing canon in a more streamlined fashion rather than give insight into unknown aspects of the Land of Ooo.
The book's sections are as follows:
-- Detailed bio pages on Finn, Jake, PB, Marceline, Ice King, Lady Rainicorn, and LSP.
-- A-to-Z mini bios on recurring / minor characters
-- A mini glossary on Wizards
-- A mini glossary on Princesses
-- Ice King's fanfiction (made to look as though drawn and written by Ice King himself)
-- An instruction manual for BMO
-- PB's Travel Guide to the Candy Kingdom and Beyond
-- Marceline's Travel Blog for Demon Backpackers
-- Excerpts from The Enchiridion
-- Abadeer's Novelty Spells and Cures
-- Rather creepy end pages which I will leave you to discover for...
